I hadn't said more than five words to my father since we arrived home an hour ago. I felt uncomfortable around him knowing what I knew.

"How're you feeling, champ?" he asked, barging into my room. I stared at the chipping paint in the corner of my room.

"Are you going to keep on playing the silent game? What's wrong?"

"You're a murderer!" I blurted as I pushed his hand away from.

"What?" he looked as if he had been punched.

"You're the reason why Aaron's parents are dead and he's going to hate me when he finds out what you did." I began to pace up and down my room.

"Dad, you've ruined everything! This is the first time I've been truly happy since mom died and you've ruined that. I lost mom, I lost Valery and now I'm going to lose Aaron!" I choked on the air that was in my lungs. I couldn't get anymore air into my lungs.

"Honey, calm down you're going to pass out!" my dad called reaching out to grab me.

"Don't touch me!" I shouted as I began to fall. The room was moving and my head was spinning.

Everything went away. My father's shouting, the green of my walls and the black of my duvet cover.

Everything went white and the smell of my mom's favorite perfume filled my nose. I blinked three times and there she was.

Her blue eyes sparkled at me and her long blonde hair draped down her back. She smiled at me, she was wearing the same outfit she was in the day she died.

"Mom!" I smiled, tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

She kept smiling as she embraced me and I swore I could stay there forever. She whispered, "It was meant to be." as she combed her fingers through my hair.

She released me and she began fading away.

"Mom!" I screamed. Hands cradled me as I was pulled back into reality. My jagged breathing filled the silence along with my heart that was racing in my chest.

I needed to see Aaron. I wanted him to know. I wanted to talk to him.

I wiggled my way through my dad's grasp and made a run for the stairs and out the front door. I walked at a fast speed towards his house trying not to pass out. I continued to remind myself to workout more.

As I turned the corner of his block, I saw him. He stopped running when he met my gaze. We stood apart breathing heavily, chests rising and falling rapidly.

As if we were signaled, we began to run towards one another, arms open. We held one another as if it had been days since we'd been together last, months even.

"I know everything."
