Two days went by in a daze. Abhay made a perfect plan with Rudra on what to do and how to cancel the engagement. In a way, they wouldn't have done that, but without their sister, they will never do something...the four of them together were one unity!

Rudra didn't ask Ruhi to attend the ceremony as he wants his sister to give importance to her self-respect rather than their father's words, and Abhay shared his feelings. While both the brothers were in their own planning, Ruhi, on the other hand, was all ready for her move she planned to make. She knew it might upset or, worst, anger her brothers, but she didn't have an option. For two days straight, she kept herself as busy as possible, but she wasn't able to focus on anything.

As the night came and 12 struck on the clock, Abhay entered her room with a bang, holding a big chocolate cake in his hands and wearing a party cap. Ruhi threw him a disgusted look. What did her Bhaiyu think? What was she, 5 or something? The cake was okay, but those kids' balloons along with the party cap made her visibly cringe.

Abhay placed the cake on the bed and hugged her tightly. "Happy Birthday, Baccha!"

Ruhi pulled back with a frown as she heard two voices in sync. She looked back at the door and didn't find anyone. That's when Abhay handed her the phone, and her eyes misted upon seeing Rudra on the video call.

Rudra said with a soft smile, "Happy Birthday Ru!"

Ruhi gulped down her tears and nodded as she was too choked up with her emotions.

"Ayan se baat karegi?" Rudra asked hesitantly.

Ruhi again nodded. Ayan came into view hopping like a monkey and gave her a big smile, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIJI!" He yelled on the top of his lungs, only to get whacked by Rudra.

"Kya kar raha hai? Darwaza khula hai room ka, koi sun lega na Ayu?" Rudra chided gently.

His sentence itself made Abhay and Ruhi frown, and they looked at each other confused. What made Rudra think about who is around and who isn't? Since when did he start thinking about people who don't even matter to them? They were more surprised as Rudra handed over the phone to Ayan, moving away from the screen.

"Kya Bhaiya aap bhi darwaza band kar rahe ho. Kaun sa koi bhoot aane wala hai hume milne?" Ayan said with a huff.

Rudra came back and sat with him, taking the phone back and ignoring his younger brother's words.

"Darwaja kyu band kiya tune?" Abhay couldn't help but ask.

Rudra gave him a small smile, "We don't want the world to know that we have a walking-talking human speaker in our house. Do we?"

Though he tried to convert it into a joke, but Ruhi felt something was wrong. The suspicious behavior of her Dada didn't sit well with her. Before she could ask anything, Ayan spoke...

"Jiji, aap aaogi na kal party mein. Kal toh double celebration hoga, ek taraf Bhaiya ki engagement aur dusri taraf aapka birthday." Ayan squealed in excitement, "Aap kitne baje aaogi aur kitne din ke liye aaogi and..."

"Ayu, abhi party ko time hai na bacha," Rudra cut him off gently, "Tu toh abhi se shuru ho gaya."

Ayan pouted, "Par mujhe bas jaan na hai ki jiji kl kitne baje tak ayogi?"

Before Rudra could interfere, Ruhi spoke, "7 baje! I will be there by 7, Kiddo, and we will have fun, don't worry," she said gently.

Abbay glared at her, as did Rudra, making her look away.

"Mera ek kaam kar, please, tere room mein mera laptop hai, woh leke aayega, I need to show something to your Bhaiyu," Rudra said gently, and Ayan left.

Once Ayan was out of earshot, Rudra's eyes hardened, "You won't be attending the ceremony," He said sternly.
