   Ruby loved music, it was really the only thing that kept her mind off of the terrible shit she had going on in her life. Not to mention it helped her not be alone with her thoughts, which she hated. Ruby was always alone, whether it be at her house, school, almost everywhere. She was alone, and when you're alone so much, you start to find comfort in it.

   While Ruby was in her room, her mom was down stairs contemplating if she should go check on her. One part of her thinks 'why did i even do this to myself? She knew what kind of man she was dating. Camila knew that having his kid, she wouldn't be normal. She knew that ruby was going to have issues and yet she still went through with it. The one thing she couldn't let go was the fact she thought he would be there for her. She thought he was going to help. She thought he would at least be there for her. For Ruby. This isn't her fault. It's his. Ares. The god of War. Ruby's mom knew that she couldn't let her know who he was. He had to claim her. But you could at least help out.

   Camila was distraught. She loved Ruby but she couldn't help every time she looked at her, she saw him. Ares. Every single detail, her tone, her anger, her personality. It was all him. A walking breathing form of him. You would be here all day if she were to tell you their story, that is something for another day. Just know it did not end well. At all. In any way or form. She hated Ares, in a way of burning love. So when your daughter is a walking mini version of him. You have some resilience. So she made the only decision she knew she could. Make an offering, have one simple conversation on what she should do with their daughter.

   She grabbed one bowl with cereal and lit a match. As she watched it fall into the cereal she thought one thing "Please mi cariño, I need your help. Please" a small tear fell from her face as she thought about Ruby and what she knew she had to do. With one drop of her tear, she heard thunder outside and her door opened. "Did you miss me?" she heard a very familiar, sarcastic, and a voice that just aggravates her. "No, it's complicated" she said with her hands leaned against the counter. He walks up to her and wipes her very faint tear from her cheek. "What is it? Is it Ruby?" he says in a low voice, being quiet. Camila nods softly. "It's just I don't know what to do, she's so angry all the time. I don't know how to help her and I.." she says as she starts to faintly cry. She was just as lost as Ruby. "And I can't help but think that she hates me" she finally got out, sighing. "She doesn't hate you, Camila. She is just lost and needs help from people like her, people like me." Ares says caressing her cheek. Camila was lost in words, as she made eye contact with him. "Will you protect her? You have to promise me she will be in your care, and you will let not a thing, I mean a thing happen to her. Okay?" she says pushing a finger into his chest. "I always loved how demanding you were." he says smirking. She looked at him being serious. "Ok, ok. She will be taken care of, and see if her satyr is ready to take her to camp" he says while rolling his eyes."

   "Thank you" she paused "Mi cariño" Camila said looking up into his eyes. I hate him, I hate him, I hate him. She had to keep telling herself as he leaned in and pressed his lips against her's.

    God she loved him

   The next day at school Ruby had to apologize to her teacher and to Angie. God she hated her. She mentally scoffed as she walked into her classroom and sat down. The principal had told Ruby that when she apologized she had to do it in front of the whole class. Of Course when dealing with Ruby there was an argument but this time it was different, she just said ok and rolled her eyes. Hey, it's better than having a tongue lash with the principal.

   When she sat down and pulled out her math books the principal walked in. Shit Ruby thought to herself she knew she was going to have to apologize but really? This early? She told herself to just be calm and say sorry, just lie your good at it. "Good morning students!" the principal said as he walked into the classroom overly excited. It's a Tuesday Ruby thought to herself as she rolled her eyes. "Today I have an announcement, you guys are getting a new student!!" he said as he clapped his hands together and gave everyone a smile. "Her name is Rosette Noon '' he said as he moved out of the doorway to let her in. "Hey guys!" Rosette said as she waved to everyone, locking eyes with Ruby. "Now go sit down, and while the principal is here we might as well get this apologie out of the way" Ms. Bennot said, looking at Ruby. Ruby rolled her eyes and stood up, as she was walking to the front Rosette walked by sitting in the vacant seat next to her own.

   Ruby sighed when she reached the front of the classroom. As she turned around she made eye contact with Angie. "Angie, I want you to know that I am deeply sorry for telling you and I quote" she paused "Can you just shut the fuck up? Or is that impossible for people like you to do. I want you to know that I take it all back." she smirked
"do to you like people for impossible that is or up fuck the shut just you can!" she said fastly letting out her breath, taking her words back. Literally. "And Ms. Bennot, I am sorry for cursing in your classroom" She said with a smile and walked back to her seat. As for the rest of the class they were giggling at her sarcastic behavior.

   Rosette on the other hand was wondering how the hell she was going to get her back to camp half-blood. She just sighed looking at the brunette girl.
