It had been about three days since Meya last spoke to Aemond noir her brothers. And even Aegon. The 'joke' they pulled and the accusation of her being a part of it made her blood boil at the thought of it. She couldn't take it anymore. She bursted out of her chambers and began walking down the hallway with her guard following her " I can walk through the keep myself, Ser Finn!" She snapped as she heard his footsteps go silent for a moment before he turned to walk back to his post by her door. Meya took up her speed and were nearly running. It was nearly midnight in king's landing. Servants who were still working in the keep looked at the princess as she ran past them. Meya couldn't care less of them. She needed to get to her destination. What destination may you ask?

Aegon's chambers.

***

The minute Meya arrived to Aegon's chambers she could see one of the guards standing outside leaning against the wall, snoring in his deep sleep. Meya made her way towards the door carefully as she passed him and began knocking nonstop until a loud groan was heard behind the door. The door bursted open and revealed Aegon. " What in the seven-" Aegon groaned but stopped mid sentence as he saw his niece behind the big door. " Niece, what a suprise seeing you outside my chambers in the middle of the night. " he said and smirked. Meya rolled her eyes in response and slipped right past him into his chambers. Aegon closed the door right after her, turning his gaze to hers as he leaned agaisnt it with arms crossed over his chest. " Something you needed?" he spoke up unbothered. Meya frowned at him before running up and slapped him across the face. This took the prince by suprise as he stroked his hand over  the cheek where she had slapped him. " You are pathetic you know that?! Why would you do that to him!" Meya yelled at him as her blood boiled.

"Do what?"

"You know what I mean!"

" No I clearly do not know, sweet niece"

" What you did to Aemond!"

" That little shit? Oh right yeah now I know what you meant."

Meya looked at him in disgust as she raised her hand again to strike him only for Aegon to grabb before she had the chance. She tried yanking her wrist away from him but failed. " You really think I'll let you do that again?" Aegon said but came out like a whisper. Meya looked at him in anger as she tried over and over again to yank her wrist from him but failed yet over and over again. " You really think I'll let you waltz in here, yell in my face and strike me, huh?" he said irritated. Meya managed fineally to yank her wrist  away from his grasp. She looked over at her hand and saw how a red mark started to form around it, shit. She could see Aeong's fingerprints starting to form on it aswell. Shit. She looked up at Aegon, glaring at him before storrming out of the room and walked back to her chambers.

The next day Meya along with Helaena sat down with Septa Marlow embroidering. She had to fight the urge of not running out of the room. She wore a long sleeved light pink dress to cover up the red mark Aegon had given her. Sure, she hated  him. But she didn't think it was that necessary for more people to get involved. She carefully moved up the sleeve while septa was not looking to see how the mark was doing. It had gone a little better, it wasn't that much red anymore, but the fingerprints were still there. "What happened to your wrist, princess?". Crap, septa Marlow had notcied. Meya didn't get to answer before the septa grabbed her wrist lightly to examen it. " Fingerprints? Princess who did this to you?" she asked her. Meya rolled her eyes before yanking it away. " It's non of your business, I'm alright." Meya growled. Helaena looked at her confused before shrugging it off and went back to her embroidery. " I need to know iff someone has hurt you, princess." septa Marlow continued. " How many times do I have to tell you! I'm fine, it's nothing!" Meya snapped before throwing her own embroidery across the room standing up before leaving.

"Uggh!"

Meya kicked the grass as she was walking in the castle gardens. She walked over to one of the benches beneath a big tree and sat down in frustration. " Something troubling you?" a voice said making her head turn. Great, Lord Larys how wonderful. " I'm fine, my lord. Nothing is wrong with me just leave me to it." she replied coldly. Can't anyone see she just wanted to be alone? " Iff you only say so, princess" He replied before sitting down next to her. She rolled her eyes in response. " What's that on your wrist?" he asked looking at her arm. Seven hells, she forgot to unfold her sleeve down. She quickly did so before looking down at her feet. She knew that iff anyone found out it was Aegon, it would have been a huge deal. And she didn't want any attention to it than what it already was.

"A whipser told me it came from Prince Aegon"

Meya turned to Larys. A cooled smile placed on her face as she spoke. "Who told you that?".
"That doesn't really matter, princess" Larys said and smiled at her. Of course he would know about it. He always knew everything that happens in the red keep. Everything.

"I don't know who might have said that. But that's not true at all. So spare me with the dirty little lies of whispers of yours, my lord." Meya said placing her arms behind her back as she stood up facing him. "Iff you may excuse me. I have more important stuff to sit here all day." She said giving a sarcastic bow and left the gardens.

Meya walked through the long halls of the red keep with one hand fiddeling over the necklace that were haning around her neck. She got it from her mother. She greeted every knight in the hallway with a smile as she passed by him which she got a nod back saying " Princess" with a smile. She smiled in confidence as she walked through the halls feeling the eyes on her as the ends of her dress dragged after her and her hair bouncing up and down on her back.

People whispered over how much she could remind of Rhaenrya by her looks. Almost identical to Rhaenyra in her youth. But what scared people more was how her personality could remind of Daemon Targaryen. Of course Meya had heard of the rumours of that she maybe was his daughter but she never bothered that. She knew that iff that was true, her mother would have told her. No matter what she would see Laenor as her father.

Meya decided to walk out to the courtyard to see how things were there. She was curious of the sword training, maybe even try to try it herself since she never liked her lessons iff it wasn't for history of old Valyeria, great warriors or dragons.

The sky were covered in light grey clouds hiding away the sun from King's Landing. Meya looked over the big courtyard full of guards, stable boys, squares, her uncles, her brothers, Ser Harwin and Ser Criston. She also spotted her grandshire along with his hand making her smirk. She walked over to them and stood by Viserys.

"Ah! My dear Meya. How lovely to see you today." King Viserys said politely with a smile on his lips. Meya returned a smile as she also nodded her head at Lord Lyonel Strong. The hand of the king smiled as he returned her nodd. " Princess"

Meya looked over to watch the swords training appearing. She could see the four princes father their wood swords. Aegon had caught her eyes. He looked up at her as he gave her a teasing smirk and bowed to mock her. She only rolled her eyes over. She looked away and began tugging at her necklace with her hand as she looked over the yard. "Is that a new necklace, my dear grandchild?" Viserys asked her making her look at him.

Meya gave a weak smile before replying. "No. It was my mothers. She gave me it on this early morrow. She thought I should have it. She told me she used to wear it when she was young".
Viserys gave an understanding smile and nodded.
"I thought it looked familiar. You look just like her when she was young. You look like you could be her twin." Meya was used to hear about her looking like her mother more than her father. She only gave a small smile before deciding to walk back into the castle. As she moved through the giant yard she could hear both Aegon and Viserys.

"YOU DARE LAY HANDS ON ME"

"Aegon!"

She chuckled to herself over it all and shook her head. Until she heard mumbling from Ser Criston.

"Most men would kinda have that devotion towards a cousin, or a brother, or a son"

As Meya turned her head towards the scene she saw how Harwin turned to Criston as he launched his fist towards him.

Shit.
