Blind-dating

Chapter 7

Ed Sheeran's album is to nobody's surprise, a huge hit. The ginger haired man always has the public wrapped around his finger with his voice and beautiful lyrics and all the fans seem to love all the songs. 

Especially 'Love You Goodbye' is a big fan favorite and Ed has announced that he will make it into a music video. Louis is thrilled. 

In the evening of the day that the music video was released, Louis sits down on his couch with a loud sigh and grabs his phone. He bites his lip and after some contemplation he asks Siri to open his gallery. 

He scrolls through his pictures and video's until he find the demo of 'Love You Goodbye'. He listens to the full song, remembering the tears that streamed down his face as he sang it. It was like a farewell to the amazing month he spent with Harry. 

The truth is, Louis is feeling better now. Two weeks since he visited his family, he has been working on himself.

He sees now that he is more than just his disability and that he deserves love. He has started to learn how to cook and is actually enjoying it very much now. He has written some more bangers, but this time about self respect instead of a break up. 

Louis feels stronger, he really does. He realizes that he doesn't need Harry and that there are plenty of other man that he could date, but the truth is, he really liked him. He still does. He misses him. 

So, with after one more second of contemplating, he asks Siri to send the video to Harry. 

Louis: Hi Harry. I hope you're doing okay. 

Louis: I would understand if you still don't want to see me again, but I just wanted to send you this demo for the song I also gave to Ed. 

Louis: *Video attached*

Louis: The truth is, I really miss you and I would like to explain everything to you. I never meant to break your trust or to bring back bad memories, but I was just scared is all. 

Louis: Please consider the invitation to a dinner at my place, this time I promise the food will be better (I took some cooking lessons). I'll have everything ready at 7 tomorrow. If you don't come, I'll take it as my sign to never contact you again. 

Louis: I hope to see you tomorrow but if you decide that you never want to see me again, consider this song as a goodbye to you. Always in my heart, yours sincerely, Louis.

Louis is practically running through the kitchen, in a hurry to this time make the recipe he tried to make previously into a perfect meal. 

Biting his lip in concentration, he asks Siri for the time again as he brings the dish to the kitchen table. 

When Siri tells him he only has 5 minutes left, he curses under his breath, quickly opening the tap to fill two glasses with water. He figured that wine wouldn't go well with the conversation they were about to have. 

If he decided to show up. 

Louis shakes his head. He'll just assume that Harry will be there and if not, Liam promised he would be there to eat with him if needed.

Just as he puts the glasses on table, he hears a knock on the door. 

He freezes, not believing his ears. Was that really Harry and was he early? 

He practically runs to the door, swinging it open with a bright smile on his face. "Hi." 

"Hi darling," his neighbor that he can call Granny greets him. "My cat Whiskers has ran off. If you can see." She pauses, realizing her mistake. "If you find her, can you bring her home to me?"
