Kazuha waited patiently by the docks of Liyue harbour for his best friend to arrive. He smiled to himself excited to meet the other. The sky was bright blue and the sun gleamed brightly to the point where it was too blinding to look in it's direction. The city was buzzing with excitement with everyone anticipating the lantern rite festival which was in less than a week. In his left hand Kazuha gently held a silk flower which was a plant you could only find in Liyue with it's delicate petals and distinct soft pink colour.
Kazuha suddenly jumped as he felt a hand rest on his shoulder.
"hey" greeted the soft voice of Scaramouche behind him
"I still don't get how you can walk so silently" Kazuha commented turning around to face the other
Scaramouche chuckled his eyes shining brightly glad that he can be back with Kazuha.
"oh yeah.." Kazuha lifted his had offering the silk flower to the other "here"
Scaramouche blushed lightly taking the flower "it's so pretty" he observed it for a while smiling to himself
"look how soft he is with his beloved Kazuha" a voice rang out
Scaramouche's expression instantly shifted to one of annoyance. Kazuha stifled a laugh because he just found it cute whenever the other would do that.
"go find your boyfriend and leave us alone" Scaramouche snapped back crossing his arms
"hey how come you're only nice to him, I'm supposed to be your best friend" Childe complained only pretending to be upset
"Kazuhas my best friend, not you" the other argued rolling his eyes
"your more like boyfriends so technically I'm your best friend" the ginger replied smiling
Kazuha laughed to himself watching the two boys in front of him argue.
"come on Kazuha" Scaramouche took the poets hand "lets leave this idiot and find something to do"
The purple haired boy dragged the other by the hand away from the docks. Kazuha blushed from the twos skin ship. He loved how Scaramouche's hands were always cold and how it contrasted his warm hands.
"do you want to look around the markets?" Scaramouche asked
"of course" Kazuha responded happily
The wanderer suddenly realised that the two were still holding hands. He became flustered and let go.
"I'm sorry" he apologised feeling embarrassed
"It's fine" Kazuha replied smiling softly the skin around his eyes creasing happily
The two continued to walk together to the centre of Liyue harbour where there were markets set up everywhere.
"Is there anyone you would like to go to in particular?" the poet asked
"yeah" Scaramouche scanned the area for a bit and pointed "that one"
"lets go!" Kazuha exclaimed
The two walked over to the stall that was littered in delicate chains and crystals. The sun reflected the different colours of the gemstones on the table. Kazuha stared at the colour in awe thinking that they were very pretty. Scaramouche scanned over all the pieces until he found something he liked. He looked in Kazuhas direction to ask his opinion but when he looked he saw that Kazuha had gotten distracted talking to Beidou and Ningguang.
Once he had gotten what he wanted, Scaramouche walked over to join the other three.
"Hey Kazuha didn't tell me you were visiting!" Beidou exclaimed "its good too see you"
