Chapter 4~ Unexpected Trouble

"So, I went on a date Friday, " I say putting my skates on "Really? With her or with some other girl?" Jack asks "With her, she was just busy." "See told ya"

"I know I know" "So how was it? What did y'all do?" He asks with a smirk which makes me laugh "We chilled at her place. We ate Some pizza drank some wine, watched Grey's Anatomy, and chatted a little. And we kissed" I say whispering the last part

"You kissed her?!" He yells "Shut the fuck up, dude!" I yell through my teeth as he just laughs "Omg no way, and how was it? Is she a good kisser? Did y'all do more than kiss?" "No, we just kissed a few times nothing more. But yeah she's an amazing kisser" I say already imagining her soft lips on mine again

"Damn, I'm proud of you man. Btw why do you tell me now? The date was Friday and it's Monday man. It's fuckign Monday" "I'm sorry oke, I just wanted to keep it to myself for a little bit," I say and he nods

"Oke oke, fine I forgive you but only this time oke?" He says and I nod before we get up and go to the ice rink.

At practice I see Hailee standing there while looking at me with a smile which I give her back. "Man, she's in love with you. Does she know you're seeing someone?" Jack asks coming to stand next to me

"No, and she doesn't need to know," I say before skating away and focusing back on the game. After practice, I go over to her and go and stand to the side "Hey, what are you doing here?" "I got bored at home, plus I like watching you play. And then I get to talk to my dad again. Btw we're having dinner tonight, wanna come?" She asks

"I don't know Hailee," I say "Dad, do you or Mom mind if Noah joins us for dinner tonight?" She asks Pete. He then looks up at us and says "Oh no not at all, we'd love to have you over for dinner" he says coming over and patting my shoulder

"Ready for this Friday? Big game day huh?" He says "Yeah I'm kinda excited." "Now get ready so you can take Hailee with you. She didn't bring her car and I need to go and stop by the store. But I'll see both of you at dinner okay?" He asks and we nod before he leaves.

"I'll go and get freshened up real quick then," I say and she nods "I'll be in the lobby waiting," she says before leaving. I then go and take a shower before changing back into my normal clothes and going to the lobby where Hailee is just sitting on the couch waiting for me.

I grab a free apple and take a bite before going over to her and tapping her shoulder. She looks up and I nudge my head to the door as I start walking to the door and I take another bite of my apple. I then hold the door open for her, I walk out after her and then lead the way to my car.

When we're in my car I start to drive while eating my apple as she's doing something on her phone "So what are we now? I mean we kissed, we had our second date and you're basically a part of the family" she says putting her phone away

"I don't know, what do you want us to be?" "I don't know," she says and I nod "I do know one thing though" "And that it?" I ask stopping in front of a red light, and before I can say anything else she grabs my face and kisses me which makes me smile as I kiss her back.

Then I pull away and quickly start driving again since the light turned green. "What was that for?" I ask shooting a glare at her "I just wanted to kiss you, was I not allowed to maybe?" "Oh no, you can do that more. Btw where am I driving to? Cause dinner isn't till 5 and it's only 3" I say

"Just drive to my place we can hang there for a little while we wait," she says and I nod as I start to drive to her place. When we arrive we go inside and I immediately let myself fall on her couch "god, your couch is so comfy" I say "You should feel my bed" she says and I immediately look up at her
