Chapter 6~ Revelations

Yesterday was a rollercoaster of emotions. I mean a lot happened, for example, I was supposed to attend a dinner but I didn't go cause I had to pick up my mother from jail and bring her to my brother's place. Then I went to Hailee's house and hung out with her. Then I told her my story. I'm still in shock that she didn't run off like everyone else.

Anyway, then I had a pretty amazing night if you know what I mean. And then I asked Hailee to be my girlfriend and she said yes. So like I said yesterday was a literal rollercoaster.

And here I am still alive and breathing, lying in bed with my beautiful girlfriend.

"What are you thinking about in that small little brain of yours?" I hear which pulls me out of my thought "Auw, that hurt. I don't have a small brain. And I don't know I was just thinking about yesterday like it was so hectic." I say staring at the ceiling

"A good kind of hectic or the bad kind?" "The part with my mother bad. But all the rest good" I say looking at her and giving her a small smile which she returns

"What time is it?" She asks so I grab my phone and look at the time "10:32" "oke, then I'm gonna have to disappoint you by telling you I need to get up"

"Hey no that wasn't the deal," I say grabbing onto her so she can't leave which makes her laugh a bit "Noah I'm serious I have to get ready. I have an interview in an hour come on. Plus you have to be at practice soon"

"Ugh, fine you win," I say letting her go. And before she gets up she gives me a peck before getting up and going into her bathroom. I get up too and put on yesterday's clothes.

I then go downstairs wanting to make her breakfast when I get a call. Without looking at who it is I pick up the phone "Hello?"

"Hey you, I thought you were dead." Luna my sister says which makes me laugh a little "I'm not. I'm sorry that I didn't let you know anything I've just been busy with hockey and some other stuff"

"Right, oke. But next time at least send me a text that you're still alive. Btw I heard mom got out of prison again" "Ugh come on don't bring her up. You're ruining my good mood. Look we'll meet up again the three of us and discuss it okay? Btw how was your little vacation?"

"Fine, well it was nice to get away. And god I don't know if I can say this but I loved the fact that I was child-free for three days. I miss those days I really do." She says which makes me chuckle. Then I hear footsteps coming down so I turn around and see Hailee looking as beautiful as ever which makes me smile

"Hey Luna can you like hold on a second?" "Sure yeah," she says before I take the phone off my ear as Hailee comes to me and gives me a kiss "I wanted to make you breakfast but then got a call I'm sorry"

"Don't be. You'll get to show off those cooking skills soon enough" she says kissing me again "Fine, I'm gonna go through before Pete makes me do laps again" I say which makes her laugh

"Sure, at least take an apple with you for on your way," she says so I do so and put the phone back against my ear

"I'm gonna go, see ya. Oh and text me when you're free okay? So I can show off my skills" I say to Hailee with a wink which makes her just smile as I take a bite out of my apple and leave her house and get in my car

"Oke Luna I'm back. Where were we?" I ask "Uh excuse me. Nope, you're not getting away with this so easily. Who were you talking to? Do you have a girlfriend I don't know about? Noah wtf!" She says which makes me laugh a bit as I'm driving to the gym since today we are training in the gym with the whole team

"Oke yeah. Look just don't make it a high deal though. And I'm not gonna introduce you yet. I mean she saw Mom and she had to experience some things with me and Mom. So like you're gonna have to have patience" "Yeah yeah whatever. But like you have a girlfriend?! Tell me about her. What is she like? Oh I hope so it's not someone like Rebecca cause god I hated that woman"
