Ever since she found out about her rejection, Alyvia had been in her head about everything.

The Bolton girl was sitting in the rehearsal room with Kelsi and Ryan as they rehearsed Liv's solo for the show.

I used to think that winning was
For everyone else, yeah
But then you showed me a picture of
Me being myself, yeah

You make me feel so special inside
Like there was nothing that I couldn't try
I'll always feel like a winner, it's true
With you

You make me wanna
Jump to the rhythm and step to the music
All in together, let's show how we do it
Step to the rhyt-

"Liv, that sounded great, but can you maybe make it sound a little happier?" Kelsi asked, removing her hands from the keys, causing the Bolton girl to trail off as she glanced over at the duo.

"It's called Jump to the Rhythm. It's supposed to make people want to get up and dance, not stay in their seats and cry." Ryan stated, causing Kelsi to bump his arm with her shoulder, making the blonde boy quickly glance over at her before they looked back at the girl with a smile. "I mean, you sounded amazing as always!"

"Sorry guys. I'm just having an off day." Alyvia sighed, sending the duo a small smile.

"It's okay; how about we just take it from the chorus?" Ryan suggested, causing the Bolton girl to nod. "Kels."

Kelsi placed her hands back on the keys before glancing over to Liv, making her send her a nod, causing the girl to begin playing.

Alyvia closed her eyes as she listened to the piano.

You make me wanna
Jump to the rhythm and step to the music
All in together, let's show how we do it
Step to the rhythm and dance to the music
All in, together we shine

"I'm sorry, it's a great song, but I don't think I'm the right person to sing such an upbeat song." Alyvia confessed. "Maybe you could get Martha to sing it."

"But it's supposed to be your big solo during the show." Kelsi responded. "Miss Darbus requested it."

"Yeah, I know it's just... Maybe we can figure something else out for the show." Alyvia shrugged, causing Kelsi to knit her eyebrows.

"But-."

"Sounds great! How about we call it for the day and just meet up during rehearsals later?" Ryan spoke.

"Sorry again, Kels." Alyvia apologized, sending the girl a small smile as she slung her backpack strap over her shoulder before she made her way to the door.
