So today is my birthday. And I wanted to post something cute for it. 🙂 I'm gonna leave it in skit form to keep it simple. And because it's for fun, it might be a little out of character.

*at the school festival* *there's dancing*
Kanji: Yosuke's pretty good.
Naoto: Indeed, he seems very practiced.
Kanji: *nervous now* *internally: This is my chance!* Uh... (0///0) D-Do you wanna... dance with me? *shyly holds out his hand*
Naoto: Oh- (0///0) I- Well... S-Sure... But I must warn you, I'm terribly amateur... I wouldn't want to embarrass you.
Kanji: *giddy that she said yes* Nah, it's all good! I'm not that good either, so you can't be as bad as me! Come on!
Naoto: 🙂 *shyly takes his hand*
Kanji: *gently drags her to the dancefloor*
*After spending some time dancing, they head to the roof to get some air*
Kanji: You said you were an amateur! 😁
Naoto: I am, by definition...
Kanji: You dance better than most people I've seen.
Naoto: You were quite talented yourself, you know. 😏 Except the part where you nearly tripped over yourself when looking at me. I could have sworn I saw you blushing...
Kanji: (0///0) I- I wasn't!
Naoto: *laughing* 😄 I'm just teasing you, Kanji-kun.
Kanji: 😲 *can't stay mad cause she's so happy and cute* The Detective Prince teasing? Ha- I hardly believe it. 🙂
Naoto: Hm? Ah... yes I suppose it sounds weird... But I thought that joking around was what friends do...
Kanji: Whoa, hey- don't get all self-conscious. I like this side of ya! 😊
Naoto: *perks up* Is that so? I'm glad to hear that.
*pause*
Kanji: So, uh... thanks for dancing with me... 😅 I didn't wanna say it before, but... that was my first time dancing with a girl.
Naoto: I was your first dance? I'm honored. (^///^) Actually, I must thank you as well... This was my first time dancing with a boy.
Kanji: Whoa, really?
Naoto: You're the first boy who's ever asked. Not to mention, this is my first time going to a festival like this, so there weren't any opportunities before. Among other things...
Kanji: You won the beauty pageant though.
Naoto: That was because of the girls' votes.
Kanji: *shyly* Well, I know one guy who voted for you... 😶
Naoto: Who?
Kanji: ...Me...
Naoto: (0///0) You?
Kanji: Uh huh... 😶 You looked... great up there. You're really... c-cute without your hat. Er, well- you're still cute with it though! I get you didn't enjoy doing it, but I was happy to see that you won. Cause... Cause I think you deserved it the most...
Naoto: *eyes a little shiny* Kanji-kun...
Kanji: *looks away nervously*
Naoto: *idea* Um... come here for a moment.
Kanji: *confused but leans closer*
Naoto: *grabs his face on one side* *pulls him closer and kisses his cheek*
Kanji: (0///0)!!!!!
Naoto: A gift from Miss Yasogami, for her favorite voter of all... ❤
Kanji: Can I have another- to make sure I ain't dreaming?!?!
Naoto: *giggles* Yes, another time though.
Kanji: 😁 *happily wraps his arm around her waist*
Naoto: 😊 *leans into him*
