As she sifted through her memories, she realised that her father always loved her deeply. He often fought with her mother and stopped her from mistreating her. He also secretly gave her a lot of money, ranging from thirty thousand dollars to a hundred thousand dollars.

Back then, her mother frequently questioned her if her father had given her money secretly. She had always been foolishly filial and answered honestly every time. As a result, her mother took away all the money that her father had saved for her.

Although she was forced to live in a storeroom, she only stayed there for the past three years, ever since her father went into a coma. Prior to that, her father had always made her live in the school dorm. During holidays, he would send her to the office which had living space in the Fang Group's office building. He would even sleepover there to make sure she wasn't lonely.

"I'm fine."

"Why are you at the hospital?".

"My dad is undergoing a surgery." She had no intentions of hiding this from him.

"How is he?".

She fell silent for a moment. After sniffling, she made sure to suppress the heartbreak in her voice and tried her best to communicate with him calmly. "He has severe bedsores, and there were maggots growing on his body. They need to do a surgery to remove the rotten flesh. But there shouldn't be any life-threatening risks."

"Which hospital is he at? I'll be there immediately."

"Aren't you busy?".

"I asked you which hospital he is at."

She gave Bai Qinghao the address and he immediately hung up. Ten minutes later, his tall and broad figure appeared outside the operation theatre.

"Bai Qinghao, CEO Bai". All the medical staff, who noticed his presence, became agitated.

Several of the female nurses were watching him with sparkling eyes. "Why did CEO Bai come to our hospital? Wow, he is so handsome, so cool!".

"His family background is extraordinary with a stellar family history. If we can gain his favour, there'll be a life of unprecedented luxury and wealth waiting for us. We'll never run out of money". The relatives of several patients tried to approach him. Unfortunately, Bai Qinghao's bodyguards forced them to keep their distance. As a result, they could only watch him from afar.
