A loud hiss filled with exaggerated pain escaped the young boy who sat stubbornly but obediently on the floor with an older boy____ around fifteen years of age____ cleaning out the small scratchs that were littered around the smaller boys hands.

He had already disinfected and bandaged the ones on his legs and was nearly done with the thin arm in his hand but the younger was becoming jumping as he watched with his bright ice eyes. Heaving out a sigh, the older of the two lowered the hand but still kept his grip firm "Hito please stop fidgeting. The sooner we get this done, the sooner the pain will go away."

At the sturn yet naturally quiet and soft tone the older boy adopted did the younger puffed out his peachy lips before hesitantly nodding, to be sure Takehito wouldn't revert back to his nonsense, the boy gently nudged his chubby face to the side to prevent him from seeing what he was doing and becoming sporadically tense and start whining.

After tying the loose end of the bandage the older boy frowned his brows as he told the boy he was done, allowing the ashy grey haired boy to spread his hands and legs outwards in front of him to admire the familiar sight of bandages on his form.

"Thanks again!! You know how reckless I am... with... by the river!" 'What a horrid liar.' The older boy couldn't help but mentally sigh at the bluntant and yet terrible way his junior lied to his face. Running his palm through his wavy raven locks soothing out the knots with his fingers while he accepted the lie, just to see little Takehito light up at his 'success'.

'I really should stop making a habit of him lying, it wouldn't be good in the long run.' However, one look at his younger half brother had him in a chokehold.

He just looked too adorable with his cheeks____ still chubby with baby fat despite him being nine_____ puffed up in childish triumphalism with that goofy smug expression he tried copying from their father. Obviously, it backfires on him everytime because it always ended with the older boy cooing at his junior whilst playing with his face.

Like right now. "Wwwoulshd qshwit isht." He tried saying, as he pushed his thinner and smaller hands against his brother's hands to stop the relentless attack on his face, specifically his cheeks which he was currently testing their elasticity since he was stretching them far from his face. Seemed he wanted to rip them off his bloody face!

Getting his daily required dose of dopamine the senior of the two ceased tormenting his baby brother who was now pouting and massaging his red and swollen cheeks. He looked ready to cry so he quickly apologised and offered him compensation for being a bad brother_____ though he would prefer the word dotting to describe himself, but that wouldn't make Hito happy at all.

Takehito's quickly made his demand, his eyes glittered at the prospect of the compensation he would receive which had the older boy internally laughing at how fast his mood switched.

Though he solemnly sighed out quietly at his mother's abusive treatment towards his half brother, she seemed abundant on manipulating the young boy into becoming another one of her mindless servants through torture. It brought him pain at the fact she was slowly warping his mind.

The quiet but abrupt opening of the door behind him, pulled him from his thoughts as a young maid came in and kneeled down as she addressed the older boy, "Sorry to intrude on you young master Boyan," she swiftly gave him a polite yet meaningless apology before continuing what she was sent here for, from the harsh red swelling on her cheek he had an idea. "However, Hou Jinshu, your mother has sent for Takehito. It's time for his lessons."

At the mention of his mother wanting  the frosty eyed boy, he tensed up slightly before giving his disgruntled brother a strained grin as a reassurance. "Tell her to shove it up her arse." At the sound of the swear both Takehito and the unfortunately maid gapped at the young man who was always rather soft spoken.
