sorry for taking so long to get this out but this is the final chapter of season 1 so there'll be no updates after this until the next season comes out😞

The whole village was partying after Arlong's defeat. Miura was stood listening to Usopp's version of events, which were definitely untrue, but she didn't call him out on it. He looked really happy to tell his story, even if the truth was stretched.

Zoro appeared beside her, and she smiled at the dish in his hand. He'd gone back for seconds of Sanji's food, which made her laugh to herself.

"What?" Zoro asked.

"You went back for seconds."

"Oh, shush. I have to keep my strength up."

"You know you can admit Sanji's a good cook, right?"

"I would if he was."

Miura just smiled, turning back to Usopp.

"And I didn't stop until I single handedly defeated Arlong and his deadly crew!" He said, before turning to his friends, "With a little help, of course. I mean, I guess I wasn't completely alone."

"Three cheers for Captain Usopp!" Luffy yelled, "We couldn't have done it without him!" Everyone cheered and Usopp smiled bashfully, crossing his arms over his chest.

Just as Miura thought the good mood couldn't be ruined , they heard a voice behind them.

"Freeze!" It said. She turned around to see the marines. Zoro instinctively put an arm out in front of her, and her hand found its way to one of her swords.

"I'd rethink that if I were you," one of the marines said. She didn't pull the sword out, but her hand stayed hovering above it.

"So these are the Straw Hat Pirates," Vice Admiral Garl said, "Hm. Marines, arrest them."

"Sir, the Straw Hats didn't destroy Coco Village," Koby said, "It was Arlong."

Garp turned to him, clearly not caring who it was that had destroyed the village, just wanting the Straw Hats off the ocean.

"You have your orders, cadet."

Koby stood in front of him. "No," he said sternly, shocking yet impressing Miura.

"What did you say?"

"I said no, sir."

"You do realise there are severe punishments for disobeying direct orders?"

"I disagree with those orders, sir."

Helmeppo stood beside his friend. Miura still couldn't take him seriously with that haircut. "Me too," he said.

Garp sighed, letting out a singular, dry laugh. "Anyone else like to follow their lead?" He asked, "Or do you all wanna follow orders instead." No one said anything, instead pulling out their guns and holding it towards the pirates. Zoro stepped backwards, closer to Miura, shielding her with his own body. "Any of them move, make sure it's their last."

He walked towards Luffy. "Come here, boy." Luffy didn't dare step towards him. "I gave you every opportunity to follow my path, to become a respected Marine. But instead, you chose to become a pirate."

"No, Grandpa," Luffy smiled, "I've always been a pirate."

"No more running, boy. Last chance. Give it up."

"That's not really my thing."

Garp flung his coat off. "Then show me what you've got."

Luffy threw a punch towards him, extending his arm, but Garp easily dodged it, punching Luffy into planks of wood.
