SAI'S NOTES: Miss me? I’m back after a long break because I’ve been getting notifications about your comments, and one in particular caught my attention.

Honestly, I love reading your reactions, but seeing feedback about my writing really hits differently. That one comment, in particular, reignited my passion for writing about my favorite 2D man. So, here’s an update! Everyone can thank that specific user for their comment—I wouldn’t be here without it! (Just kidding… but seriously, thank you!)

"For real?"

"Yeah, I saw them!"

"Maybe you were just hallucinating?"

"What do you mean Kageyama and [First Name]-chan were eating dinner together last night?!" Tanaka screeched, his voice echoing all over the volleyball court.

"I don't think that's an issue, right?" Sugawara asked while laughing awkwardly after the younger's reaction.

"It shouldn't be, but you know them." Daichi sighs, looking at Hinata, Yamaguchi, Tanaka, and Nishinoya surround the black-haired girl as they wait for her response in anticipation.

The girl sighs, looking at the raven-haired boy for help but Kageyama shook his head, not wanting to get involved. "You guys are being overdramatic, it was just a dinner."

As the team gathered around Kageyama and [First Name], their playful banter filled the air, teasing and prodding at the perceived chemistry between the two.

Tsukishima, always the instigator, flashed a mischievous grin. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Kageyama, you sly dog, taking our manager out for a romantic dinner, huh?"

Hinata chimed in, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yeah, and I saw you smile, Kageyama! You never smile! It's gotta mean something!"

Nishinoya, trying to mask his jealousy with humor, added, "Looks like our cool and collected setter has a soft spot after all. Who knew?"

Sugawara, the voice of reason amidst the chaos, chuckled softly. "Come on, guys, it was probably just a friendly dinner. Let's not jump to conclusions."

Daichi, ever the captain, intervened with a calm yet firm tone. "Regardless of what happened, let's remember to respect their privacy. Kageyama and [First Name] are teammates and friends, and that's what matters most."

The teasing continued, fueled by the sight of Kageyama's blush, which only seemed to confirm the suspicions of the team. Each member took turns joking and ribbing the pair, enjoying the playful banter and camaraderie that defined their team dynamic.

Through it all, the black-haired girl tried to laugh it off, but she couldn't deny the heat rising in her cheeks. Kageyama, for his part, remained stoic, though the faint pink tint on his cheeks betrayed his embarrassment.

As the teasing gradually subsided, the team returned their focus to their practice. They gathered on the court for a friendly practice match to fine-tune their skills for the upcoming nationals. Spirits were high as they exchanged banter and warmed up, eager to showcase their teamwork and determination.

However, as the match progressed, Nishinoya and Kageyama's competitive spirits ignited, and their rivalry intensified. Each dive, each set, became a silent battle between the libero and the setter, their determination to outshine each other evident in their every move. As the game reached a crucial point, Hinata, in his usual exuberance, attempted a spike but miscalculated his timing. The ball sailed errantly towards Kageyama, who, caught off guard by his teammate's clumsiness, failed to receive it in time. The ball struck him squarely in the face, stunning him momentarily.
