A/N: YOOOOOOO, how are you guys??!?? England is grand like I may never go back to America. (You here that U.S? We are never getting back together, like EVER.) Okay jokes aside - I truly feel inspired to write again, but it's just that that time is limited here and that my free time is spent exploring instead of staying inside. I promise to write as much as I can but you'll have to be patient as I'm only halfway through being here.

As far as our story is concerned, this chapter was one of the hardest and gut wrenching chapter I've written in a while. It won't be apparent to you guys till later. So sit back, relax and enjoy the roller coaster! ;)

It had been nearly an hour since the whale-like creature of the Chiltauri had flown into the center of Beijing.

And the Avengers were nowhere near defeating it.

Tony, Thor and Hulk all were attempting to break through the armor that the creature wore –it was thicker and stronger than what they had encountered in New York. Steve, Nat, Bucky, Sam and Rhodey were making their way past HYDRA agents as most if not all of the Chiltauri were now dead. The thought was that if they could get into the base, they would be able to shut down any remaining aliens or find a weakness to the creature that was knocking down buildings in a single move. Clint circled with the Quinjet, trying to get the creature to follow him so they could keep the damage contained, but that was easier said than done.

Meanwhile, Sigyn and Loki were clearing the streets where people had gone to hide from the original fight, but they were now in danger of the buildings they were hiding in collapsing on top of them. While she would rather be fighting HYDRA, she knew that Steve could handle himself. The fact that the core group had a trust that couldn't be taught was another reason why she did as she was asked – and the fact that Loki wouldn't let her out of his sight.

"Do you think you can go any faster Capsicle? He's starting to get bored with us."

Tony's voice cut off rather abruptly and Sigyn caught eye of him doing a barrel roll to avoid the tale of the creature. Hulk roared and jumped on its back, trying to pry the metal from its putrid skin. Thor joined Hulk, trying to pull it apart and end the madness in the sky.

"We're nearly there Stark, just hold on."

"I've been holding on for a while," He grunted, rolling again. "You're running a bit behind on that promise. You tend to do that a lot, kinda like that time with Peg-"

"Shut up Tony, at least you get the easy part." Barton chimed in, Steve's heavy breathing from the fight the only indication he was still alive and thankful for Clint's interjection.

"The easy part? I'm flying around in a tin can – a rather cool one mind you – trying to fend off a giant spa-"

"Be quiet Tony." Steve half shouted over the earpiece, out of breath. "I'm inside."

"By Odin it's abou- Oh don't give me that look Thor, your evil brother said it's fine to say that."

"Don't make me regret letting you live Man of Iron. I said no such thing." Loki growled, clearing the rubble by a doorway with haste.

"Oh right, 'God of Lies' thing. Well maybe –"

"For the love of Hel, shut up Tony!" Sigyn yelled, irritated that the billionaire continued to push everyone's buttons, especially Loki.
