A/N: Here we are, the last part of this book. I'm so excited to dive into book 5 with all of you, but we'll get to that on Thursday in the Author's Note that will have a sneak preview. It's hard to believe how close we are and how far we've come. While the numbers are not what they used to be, I'm thankful for the readers I have as you are the ones who have influenced this series.
So, plot twist huh? If you realise the mirroring of the books, then it's not hard to figure out something will always happen. I will be HAPPY to announce that as of right now, no major plot twist is in the works for the final chapters at allll. Pretty much, this book dealt with a majority of the drama that needs to be wrapped up. I'll talk about that more on Thursday. So sit back, relax, and take a dive into our favorite man's mind...

Pain. Darkness. Emptiness. Anger. Defeat.
These were the feelings the Prince of Asgard felt as he awoke in the medical bay of the palace. Standing over him was Eir, and his brother. A groan came from somewhere far off; it took him a moment to realize the voice belonged to him. Everything ached and felt as if it had been taped together. He was in so much pain. Green eyes blinked open at last, the white lights making him feel dizzy as he tried to fixate on a face he knew would, or at least should, be present at his side. He could not find it.
"Thor..." Loki's voice stung with the dry air that invaded his lungs, evidence that he had been asleep for a long time.
"Brother, you are safe now." The God of Thunder replied, pushing his young brother's shoulder back down to the pillow.
But Loki pushed his hand away, sitting up and then pressing his palm to his forehead immediately. the headache was crashing in his head and the room was spinning at his sudden movement to sit up. The god winced in pain as Eir checked him out once again and gave him a shot of something to which he hardly took any notice of.
"Sigyn, where is she?" He croaked out.
Thor's lips pursed in a line, something was always wrong when his "brother" did that. The God of Thunder could see how agitated Loki suddenly became and was preparing to snap his neck at any second. It was wise not to get on the wrong side of the God of Lies and Mischief, even if he was injured and hardly able to move.
"Loki, you nee-"
"I demand you tell me where she is at this moment!" Loki roared, his skin tingeing blue up his face and arms, as he grew even more upset. Energy drained from his body as he cried out, taking him by surprise as he had not realized he was that weak.
Then darkness began to creep up with the blue, his anger fading and even the light around him growing dimmer. His grip on his brother's outfit was growing weaker as he found himself sinking back into the pillow.
"Your brother is right," Eir said, busying herself with the monitors. "You need to rest. The sedative will help with that."
The younger Prince glared as it all made sense now why he was feeling as if he was going to pass out. That idiotic nurse had given him a sedative, as if he needed such a thing. No, he needed to find Sigyn and not lie in this infernal bed a moment longer. Gripping Thor's outfit as hard as he could, he tried to sit up but could not. As the sedative continued to take effect on him, the arguing diminishing just as quickly as it started. His hand fell limp and his body fell back down against the heap of pillows. Eir gave a half smile to Thor once Loki had fallen asleep again.
"It is for his own good Prince Thor – he would have ripped open his stitches and slowed down the healing of his ribs. He needs to heal first."
"But what of Lady Sigyn? I swore to him and myself I would not make the same mistake twice."
