Manikin Challenge

"Huh, did you notice that no one was moving when we left the village? It's like an advanced form of the manikin challenge."

"Delelololol?!" (Nobody was moving and you didn't think to tell me?!)

"I thought it was funny, you should've been more observant anyway!"

"Delelololol..." (That's why the security corps aren't escorting us to the Icelands. It's almost as if time has stopped...)

"Woah!! Look at the trees!"

"Delelol?!" (Why do they look like that?!) Leaves were suspended in mid air after they fell from their branches. The longer we marveled at them, the more they seemingly disappeared right in front of us; being engulfed in a bright red light.

"What the heck. Author, fix this!!" The only sound that could be heard in the area was our breathing. "If everything else is frozen and disappearing, then how are we still able to move?... What is happening?"

"Something I should have done a long time ago."

An unfamiliar voice sounded in our heads.

This is freaky.

As me and the human were panicking at our situation, the ground started to shake and a red light encapsulated our forms

pulling us into the abyss.
