"Hey, you fainted back there at the mountains, so I brought you back to the village. We're in my cottage right now."

I didn't respond. I can't believe this human who acts like they care about me so much just left me to die over there.

"I'm sorry. I should've been more considerate of what you were capable of. You showed me that you were uncomfortable with battling that ursaring and I didn't listen. That was wrong of me."

"Delelololol!" (You expect me to forgive you from just one simple apology? You kidnapped me and forced me to fight a bear! Who does that? Absolutely crazy people like you!)

"I know you won't forgive me so easily but I'll do everything I can to make it up to you."

The room was silent for about a minute or two. I don't even know why I am even here. It was getting a little awkward before the human opened their dumb mouth again.

"You see the truth is... I'm kind of an outcast here. I fell from the sky for crying out loud! No one trusts me yet it's my responsibility to save the region, quell these dangerous beasts and complete the pokedex and all I get in return is potato mochi!"

"Delele" (You need therapy)

"There are no therapists in Hisui."

The human was now slumped over on the floor, sitting against the wall with their arms crossed on their knees. At this moment I sensed the exhaustion that was underneath the surface.

"I feel so alone."

"Delel" (I will be nicer to you with one condition.)

"What is it?"

"Delelol" (I want to defeat my mother.)

"What the-"

"Delelololol" (She abandoned me when I was born. I'll never forgive her.)

"Um okay. How will we find her?"

"De" (She's the alpha)

"Hell yeah! I bully the alphas all the time! Oh but let's train you before we do that."
