JIMIN's POV
As I meticulously spread out the map on my bed, my eyes narrowed in determination as I traced the streets of Seoul with my finger, marking potential locations where I had spotted her elusive figure. The permanent marker felt heavy in my hand, each stroke of ink a testament to my unwavering resolve to bring an end to this relentless game of cat and mouse.
"Hobi hyung, I think I've got her," I declared, my voice tinged with a sense of urgency as I gestured towards the map with a flourish.
Hobi hyung sauntered into the room, his eyebrows raised in mild amusement as he took in the scene before him. His eyes widened in shock as he beheld the chaotic mess that had become our shared space, his expression a mix of bemusement and annoyance.
"Jimin, what in the world are you doing?" Hoseok exclaimed, his voice tinged with incredulity as he surveyed the cluttered room.
I ignored his protests, too focused on the task at hand to pay him much heed. "This is serious, Hobi hyung. I've been tracking her movements for weeks now, and I'm convinced that she's the one behind all the trouble."
Hobi hyung arched an eyebrow skeptically, his lips curling into a smirk as he took in the hand-drawn stick figures and hastily scribbled notes scattered across the map. "And just who is this 'her' you're talking about?"
I paused for dramatic effect, my gaze locking with his as I uttered the name that had been haunting my thoughts for weeks. "Honey Eyes."
Hobi hyung's smirk grew into a full-blown grin as he stifled a laugh, clearly amused by my antics. "Honey Eyes? Seriously, Jimin? You're starting to sound like a character from one of those cheesy romance novels."
I bristled at his teasing, my cheeks flushing with indignation as I defended my theory with fervor. "I'm telling you, Hobi hyung, she's the one. Every time I see her, it's like she's following me, watching my every move."
Hobi hyung's grin widened, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he surveyed the mess before us. "You know, Jimin, if I didn't know any better, I'd say it's you who's been doing the stalking. I mean, look at all these creepy drawings of stick figures labeled 'Honey Eyes' near the café and the store."
I blanched, realizing too late the incriminating evidence that lay scattered across the room. "Hobi hyung, it's not what you think! I-I'm just trying to catch her in the act, that's all."
Hobi hyung chuckled, shaking his head in amusement as he made himself comfortable on the edge of my bed. "Alright, Jimin, whatever you say. Just try not to get arrested for stalking while you're at it."
I shot him a withering glare, but deep down, I couldn't help but appreciate his unwavering support, even if it came with a healthy dose of skepticism.
As Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung entered the room, their expressions shifted from concern to sheer disbelief as they took in the chaotic scene before them. "What in the world happened here?" Namjoon hyung exclaimed, his eyes widening as he surveyed the mess.
I shot them a sheepish grin, trying to play it cool despite the embarrassment creeping up my neck. "Uh, just a little... detective work," I admitted, gesturing towards the map spread out on the bed.
Jin hyung's eyebrows shot up in amusement as he approached the map, his lips twitching with suppressed laughter. "Jimin, are those stick figures? And why is one of them labeled 'Honey Eyes = Shadow Stalker'?"
I felt my cheeks flush with embarrassment as I tried to explain, my voice tinged with frustration. "It's not what you think! I'm trying to catch her in the act, okay? And I have a lead!"
Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung exchanged amused glances before bursting into laughter, doubling over with mirth as they struggled to catch their breath. "You mean to tell us that you've been playing detective because of some girl you bumped into?" Namjoon hyung managed to gasp out between laughs.
I nodded earnestly, determined to make them see the seriousness of the situation. "Yes, and I have proof! I saw her bobbing her head to Twice's 'Cheer Up' in a convenience store, and who was Shadow Stalker stalking two weeks ago? Nayeon from Twice! It all adds up!"
But instead of taking me seriously, Namjoon and Jin only laughed harder, their laughter echoing off the walls of our room. "Jimin, you're being ridiculous!" Jin exclaimed, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. "You've been watching too many spy movies."
I scowled at their lack of understanding, feeling more than a little put out by their dismissal of my concerns. "I'm her new target!" I exclaimed, my voice ringing out with a mixture of frustration and determination.
"What?" Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung said in unison, their expressions shifting from amusement to genuine concern in an instant. Hobi hyung murmured under his breath, "He's lost his mind..."
I could feel their eyes boring into me, their concern palpable in the air as I tried to articulate the gravity of the situation. "She... she bumped into me on purpose, and now she's stalking me. Whenever I go out, I wear a mask, but I still see her. She looks at me and walks away, like she's running from me!"
The weight of my words hung heavy in the air, the silence that followed filled with a sense of unease as we grappled with the implications of my revelation. It was clear that this was no longer a laughing matter, no longer something to be dismissed as mere paranoia or fantasy.
After a moment of tense silence, Namjoon hyung spoke up, his voice steady as he addressed the group. "Alright, this is getting out of hand. We need to involve our staff in this. They'll know what to do."
Jin hyung and Hobi hyung nodded in agreement, their expressions grave as they processed the seriousness of the situation. "Agreed," Jin hyung said, his usually cheerful demeanor replaced by a sense of determination.
Hobi hyung glanced at me, his eyes softening with concern as he laid a comforting hand on my shoulder. "Jimin, we'll get to the bottom of this. You're not alone in this." I'll show shadow stalker that Park Jimin is hardcore. Nobody can just stalk him.
