Y/N's POV
As I made my way through the crowded streets of Seoul, the familiar sense of unease crept over me once again. It seemed like no matter where I went, he was there, lurking in the shadows with his ominous black mask, his gaze following me like a predator tracking its prey.
I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched, that every move I made was being scrutinized by those piercing eyes behind the mask. And try as I might to ignore him, to convince myself that it was all just a figment of my overactive imagination, the fear persisted, gnawing away at my sanity like a persistent itch I couldn't scratch.
I knew I was being paranoid, that there was no logical reason for this mysterious stranger to be following me. But logic seemed to have little place in the twisted world of my own mind, where every shadow held a potential threat and every stranger was a potential danger waiting to pounce.
As a female trainee from a smaller company, I had always felt like I was flying under the radar, invisible to the outside world and free to navigate the chaotic landscape of the K-pop industry without drawing too much attention to myself. But now, it seemed like my anonymity had been shattered, my presence suddenly thrust into the spotlight whether I liked it or not.
I couldn't help but wonder why he was targeting me, what twisted motives lay behind his relentless pursuit. Was I simply an easy target, a naive trainee from a smaller company who was too easy to manipulate? Or was there something more sinister at play, something lurking beneath the surface that I couldn't yet comprehend?
With a heavy sigh, I resigned myself to the fact that I was in over my head, outmatched and outgunned by this mysterious stranger who seemed to hold all the cards. I had no physical defense to speak of, no strength to run or fight, and no clue how to protect myself from the looming threat that hung over me like a dark cloud.
But one thing was for certain: I couldn't face this alone. I needed help, someone who could guide me through the treacherous waters of this twisted game of cat and mouse. And there was only one person I could turn to for help: my manager, Daphne.
With a renewed sense of determination, I squared my shoulders and set off towards our company building, steeling myself for the difficult conversation that lay ahead. Whatever fate had in store for me, I was ready to face it head-on, armed with nothing but my self-deprecating humor and a stubborn refusal to give up without a fight. After all, if there was one thing I knew for sure, it was this: Y/N might be toast, but she wasn't about to let some masked stranger ruin her life without a fight.
I hesitated outside Daphne's office, my heart pounding in my chest as I prepared to confront her with my fears. Taking a deep breath, I pushed open the door and stepped inside, my eyes meeting hers in a silent plea for help.Daphne looked up from her desk, concern etched across her features as she took in my troubled expression. "Y/N, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
I sank into the chair opposite her desk, my hands trembling as I struggled to find the words to explain. "It's... it's him, Daphne. The black mask guy. He's been following me, watching me. I think... I think I'm being stalked."
Daphne's eyes widened in alarm, her professional demeanor slipping as she leaned forward, her voice laced with urgency. "Stalked? Are you sure, Y/N? This is serious."
I nodded, my throat constricting with fear as I recounted my encounters with the mysterious stranger. "Yes, I'm sure. He's everywhere, Daphne. I can't escape him."
Daphne's expression hardened with determination as she reached for her phone, her fingers flying across the screen as she dialed a number with practiced ease. "Alright, Y/N. We're going to get to the bottom of this. I'm calling the authorities."
I watched in silent awe as Daphne sprang into action, her voice calm and authoritative as she explained the situation to the person on the other end of the line. Within minutes, a plan was set in motion, and I felt a wave of relief wash over me knowing that I wasn't alone in this.
"Okay, they're going to stake out the café near your dorms," Daphne informed me, her voice tinged with reassurance. "You'll be safe there, Y/N. We won't let anything happen to you."
I nodded, grateful for Daphne's unwavering support as she ushered me out of her office and into the waiting car outside. As we drove towards the café, I couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope amidst the fear and uncertainty that gripped my heart.
Maybe, just maybe, with Daphne by my side, I could put an end to this nightmare once and for all. And as we pulled up outside the café, I braced myself for whatever lay ahead, knowing that no matter what, I wouldn't have to face it alone.
"Your gonna have to stay here alone, until the guy comes. If he sees you with someone else he might suspect something." Daphne enlightened. I nodded getting out of the car, "Fighting." I scraped out of my throat and daphne nodded.♡SHADOW STALKER : BLACK MASK♡
