JIMIN's POV

I groaned as I slowly regained consciousness, the dull ache in my head serving as a painful reminder of the events that had led me here. Blinking blearily, I sat upright in the hospital bed, my eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings until they landed on a familiar figure sitting beside me.

"Honey eyes!" I exclaimed, my voice hoarse with confusion and disbelief. "You're the Shadow Stalker!"

She turned to look at me, her expression a mixture of amusement and exasperation. "Seriously, Jimin-nim? Shadow Stalker? That's what you're going with?" she retorted, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Before I could respond, the door swung open, and the officer from earlier stepped into the room, a bemused smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Neither of you are shadow stalkers," he declared, his voice tinged with amusement. "Jimin, she's a trainee in your company and lives in the female dormitories near your dorms, which is why you saw her so much. And Y/N, since he lives in the male dormitories near your dorm, you saw him. Both of you had a misunderstanding."

I bristled at his words, feeling a surge of indignation rising within me. "Why didn't you recognize your own sunbae? Some junior you are," I spat out bitterly, unable to mask the resentment in my voice.

But she wasn't about to let me have the last word. "You were the one wearing a black mask and covering your eyes with your long bangs," she shot back, her tone laced with defiance. "How is it my fault you walk out of your house like a ninja?"

We glared at each other, the tension in the room palpable as we squared off like two stubborn children refusing to back down. It was the officer who finally broke the silence, his chuckle cutting through the air like a knife.

"Easy now, kids," he chided, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I don't think you should fight. It'll make things awkward, won't it?"

I begrudgingly conceded his point, realizing just how absurd the situation had become. Stupid honey eyes.

As the officer's words hung in the air, tension crackled between us like electricity, sparking a heated exchange that neither of us seemed willing to back down from.

"It's not my fault you're so oblivious," I muttered under my breath, shooting her a pointed glare.

She rolled her eyes, her lips curling into a disdainful sneer. "Oh, please. Like I'm supposed to recognize every idol who walks around in disguise like some wannabe superhero."

I bristled at her words, feeling a surge of indignation rising within me. "Excuse me? I'll have you know, I'm Park Jimin of BTS. I don't need to hide my face like some common criminal."

She scoffed, crossing her arms defiantly. "Oh, forgive me for not bowing down at the sight of your masked face, Your Highness. Last time I checked, being a member of BTS doesn't give you a free pass to act like a total jerk."

Before I could respond, Daphne, Honey eye's manager, stepped forward, her voice tinged with exasperation. "Enough, you two. This petty bickering isn't getting us anywhere."

Sejin hyung, our manager, nodded in agreement, his expression weary as he rubbed his temples. "She's right. We need to focus on resolving this misunderstanding and moving forward."

But we paid them no heed, too consumed by our own animosity to care about anything else. The rest of the BTS members stood by silently, watching the spectacle unfold with a mixture of bemusement and disbelief.

"Can we please just agree that this whole situation is ridiculous?" Jin hyung interjected, his voice laced with frustration.

But even his words fell on deaf ears as we continued to trade barbs, our tempers flaring with each passing moment. It was clear that the rift between us had grown deeper than ever, fueled by resentment and stubborn pride.

And as we stood there, locked in a battle of wills, I couldn't help but wonder how we had ended up here, at odds with each other over a simple misunderstanding. But one thing was for certain—this wasn't going to be resolved anytime soon.

As we stood up simultaneously, the hospital gowns billowing around us like some twisted parody of a scene from a cheesy romance movie, I could feel the tension between us crackling in the air like wildfire. With every insult hurled, the divide between us seemed to widen, until it felt like there was an unbridgeable chasm separating us.

I leaned in closer, my voice dripping with sarcasm as I shot her a pointed glare. "What are you staring at, huh?"

Y/N's eyes flashed with annoyance, her jaw clenched tight as she squared her shoulders defiantly. "Oh, please. Like I would waste my time staring at your sorry excuse for a face."

But as the sunlight filtered through the window, casting a warm glow over the room, it happened, again. Y/N's eyes caught the light, transforming into pools of liquid honey that seemed to shimmer and dance with an otherworldly brilliance.

For a brief moment, I found myself mesmerized by the sight, my words faltering as I struggled to comprehend the sudden shift in atmosphere. But before I could respond, Y/N's voice shattered the moment, her annoyance palpable as she demanded, "What are you staring at, huh?!"

I blinked, snapping out of my daze as I realized how close we were standing, our faces mere inches apart. Heat flooded my cheeks as I took a step back, my gaze flickering nervously to the amused expressions on the faces of our companions.

Feeling inexplicably flustered, I cleared my throat awkwardly, trying to regain my composure. "N-nothing," I stammered, my voice betraying my discomfort. "Just... admiring the view."

Y/N's lips curled into a disdainful sneer, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. "Right. Because I'm sure staring at my face is the highlight of your day."

I felt a surge of irritation rise within me, my pride wounded by her dismissive tone. "Believe me, the last thing I want to do is look at your face," I shot back, my words dripping with venom.

She scoffed, her lips twisting into a scornful smirk. "Oh, please. Like you're any better to look at."

The exchange of insults continued unabated, each barb sharper and more cutting than the last, until it felt like the air around us was crackling with hostility. But beneath the surface animosity, I couldn't shake the nagging feeling that there was something more between us—something that went beyond mere hatred.

And as we finally broke apart, our faces contorted in disgust, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of regret. "I hate you," I spat out bitterly, the words tasting like bile on my tongue.

Y/N's expression softened, a wry smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I hate you more, sun-bae-nim," she retorted, her tone laced with forced cheerfulness as she emphasized the title.

And with that final exchange, we parted ways, each retreating to our respective corners of the room with a sense of mutual disdain hanging heavy in the air.
