what if Jaune was betrayed by everyone (MINUS his friends & teammates), but was disowned by his family after the usual transcript reveal?
Jaune decided to end it all by jumping off a cliff at the emerald forest, but instead of Dying, a portal opened...
We see Jaune sitting across from Moxxie & Millie while Blitz was in his seating holding a coffee mug and smiled at him after he turned the TV off, which was talking about.... ''Millard & Moxine incesting in public'' (aka: Moxxie & Millie having sex on stage at camp)
Blitz: I gotta be honest Moxxie, not too bad for your first solo mission.

Jaune: (deadpan) I'm going on a date with Octavia tomorrow.
Loona dropped her phone as Moxxie stopped being sad and stared at him in shock while Blitz spat out his coffee and directed the spit take on Moxxie's face
Blitz & others: WHAT!?
Moxxie: wait, where are you two going on your date?
Jaune: can't tell you. Anyways, see ya guys later.
He said as he got up from his seat and left the room, then everyone stared at each other in shock & confusion

We see Jaune putting his disguise on for his & Octavia's date. As for why? It's because they're going to Remnant for their date, specifically at Argus (where the Cotta-Arcs live at) because Jaune remembered that there were some good restaurants in that city and he wanted to take Octavia there.
After Jaune asked Octavia out, she immediately accepted as she then hugged him tightly and he did so in return. After they stopped hugging, Octavia asked Jaune where they're going and he said they're going to Remnant as he showed her the sheet of paper that has the remnant portal spell he wrote. After Octavia saw the spell, Jaune then explained to her how he got the spell and he said, and I quote, ''the same way you got the grimoire: by sneaking into Blitz's office''
