"Because.. I know what it's like to be alone.." He says, reassuringly. "I've been there.."
Ever since you met Kenma, you could automatically tell that he wasn't the sociable type of person. He understands what it's like to be alone, to feel out of place.
He trails off, grabbing your wrist, and smiling softly.
"I'm glad they healed well" He says as he admires your healed scars. "They always heal.. No matter how deep they are, it just takes time." He says as he runs his fingers along your scars.
"K-kenma..." You don't know what to say, his actions took you by suprise. "What are you talking about?..." Your voice is trembling.
"I've been there" He stops admiring your scars and he begins to roll his sleeves up.

You can believe your eyes. He really did understand.
You gasp at the sight. Your tear dried eyes, tearing up again. You quickly cover your mouth, you're unable to breath. Your hands start to tremble.
"Oh Y/N.. please don't cry. t
There healed, and I'm clean." He holds the side of your face in his hands, using his thumbs to wipe your tears.
You take his hands off your face and you hold his wrists, looking at his old scars.
"How long have you been clean?..." You quietly ask him, still looking at his wrist.
"Almost 2 years" he calmly says, smiling at you.
"Wow.. I'm so proud of you" You softly smile at him, genuinely happy.
"It's possible Y/N. It's possible to recover. You can do it, I know you can" He says as he looks at you.
All you can do is think about those 4 words, "you can do it". He believed in you, he truly did. He had confidence in you, he made it clear. He made sure that you knew that he was there for you, he was there for you if you needed to talk to someone about anything. He was a true friend. You're beyond greatfull that hes your friend.
"Hey Y/N, i got something for you actually," he says as he grabs his backpack.
