Q: Are Blade and Acheron the ship?
A: Relationship? Yes, but not romantic, which is why I avoided using "Blade x Acheron" in the title. This was just a crackship I had for a while but I wanted to try and develop the crackship through lore and eventually platonic is where my outline went. After a friend showed me some cute Acheron and Blade art, I was convinced further and finally began writing this.
Q: Is this AcheSwan erasure?
A: Given my intentions, although starting from a crackship, are not romantic, then no. Besides, I think AcheSwan is cute. Although, don't expect much AcheSwan in this one since Blade and Acheron's parallels are the main focus.
Q: Do you own Blade and/or Acheron?
A: I got Blade on early pity on his debut banner and I had to drag Acheron home because E3 Yanqing decided he wanted to ruin my month. Therefore, I am qualified to write this fic ;)
Anyway, some more general explanation and stuff I guess.
This will likely have even slower updates since I'm focusing on Ice Cold Heart mostly. This is just a side "for fun" thing. Even though my entire purpose here is for fun, this one is "for fun" for fun.
Speaking of Ice Cold Heart, I'm also using this as an opportunity to experiment with a change up my writing style and formatting. ICH's formatting won't change even if this is received better just to keep familiarity with its ongoing style, but maybe in a rewrite in the future if I ever get to that. When it comes to moving forward with future fics, I think I'll keep this formatting.
