[Platonic] Voixer x Ixol

I'm putting in the tiniest bit of voifect, as a little treat <3

Levitating in the air, Voixer quietly flew over the worlds near the emporium. They passed by Distortion Paradise, halting as they looked back in the fire surrounded island.

"Are those roses?" They say, gazing at a small field tucked away in the back of the island. Bushes of flame colored roses covered the field that seemed to be thriving despite the harsh conditions of the island.

"Maybe I could take a rose or two? I could give it to Verfection!"

They slowly made their way over to the field of roses, landing on the side of the rose bushes to look at them closely.

"They're almost like fire..." They slowly reached to grab a rose, only to stop as he heard hurried footsteps behind them.

Voixer turns around to face Ixol, who seemed a bit panicked but tried to act serious.

"Hey! Don't touch that. That's not for you to take!"

"Why? Did you grow them?"

"... No."

"Then you don't really own them, I can just take one--"

"No!"

"I mean, I won't tell anyone about your flowers..."

Ixol crossed their arms. "But I didn't grow them!"

"Then why so defensive about it?"

"They're a part of my island. And they're the only thing that somehow grows on the grass of distortion paradise."

"If it's the only thing, why is it only just a little patch of them. Shouldn't it be all around the grass in this place?"

"I hadn't considered to do that!— I mean—"

"Please, don't make a fool of yourself by trying to lie."

"You're some kind of lie detector, are you? Just, stop. I don't want you taking any of them, okay?"

"Look, I'm sorry for earlier but I really do want to take some, they look really pretty and I thought maybe Verfection would like them. I can do or give something in return if necessary."

Ixol would uncross their arms, his gaze softening. "... Fine. Help me replant what you're taking tomorrow, and maybe plant more of them... As well as some other flowers."

Voixer's symbol flickered. "Really? I mean, I'll do it!"

"I'll let you take three."

"Okay! That's enough. Are these safe to touch?"

"They're only warm to the touch, they don't wilt either after being plucked."

Voixer nods, "Oh that's pretty cool! Thank you for letting me have some." he quickly picks up 3 of the roses, careful to not touch any of the thorns.

"You're welcome, just make sure to come back or I'll personally drag you out of exosphere."

"I don't go there anymore, more like Verfection's apartment."

"Then I'll drag you out of there myself and take you here."

"No need to be hostile, and I think it's pretty cool you have an interest in gardening! You're doing a great job with these flowers, who knew there would be ones that can survive in a place like this?"

"It's special to me, and my kind. And it's all I had of my past honestly."

"Oh right, you weren't a point your whole life... Anyways, I'll be going now, see you tomorrow!"

Ixol nods as Voixer turns to float away from their island. They quietly headed back to where Verfection was, who was quietly reading a book.

Verfection noticed Voixer, setting the book aside. "Oh hello Voixer!"

"Hi!" They walk over to hug Verfection, who returns the hug. Their symbols flickering as they kept their embrace before Voixer takes a step back.

"Hey, I have something for you."

Verfection tilts his head. "Hm? What is it?"

They show Verfection the roses they've taken from Ixol, his symbol flickered with amusement.

"Oh! That's so cool! They look like fire."

"I've gotten them from someone, I thought you'd like them!"

Verfection takes the roses from Voixer. "How thoughtful, thank you Voixer." He noticed the warmth that emitted from the flame colored roses.

"Why do these feel warm?"

"They naturally give off heat, they're harmless though."

"Where did you even get these from?"

"... Ixol."

"Ah! I see, no wonder why these had a rather familiar essence in them. Also seems logical for these to come from his world, doesn't it?"

"I suppose."

"Well, would you like to get some ice cream with me?"

"Sure! I want chocolate."

Verfection nodded and the two headed out to get ice creams.

A day passes by and Voixer made their way to Distortion Paradise, glancing around to look for the monochrome colored point.

"Ixol?"

"Over here!" They yelled at a distance, Voixer quickly headed over to see Ixol holding out some flower seeds.

"Those look... Why is this one glitching?"

"I tried to alter one of them, I want to see what happens if I grew it."

"Okay, so how do I do this?"

"Well for starters, you just dig a hole in the dirt and place the seeds in them. Then you water them!"

"With the black water?"

"Uh--" they grab a nearby watering can, giving it to Voixer. "No, take this watering can."

"So you don't use the water around the island?"

"It's poisonous, and very salty. Not ideal for plants."

"... Didn't you make Verfection swim in that when he was still--"

"Let's not talk about that."

"Okay! I'm sorry."

They headed over to the nearby patch of dirt and began to dig holes, carefully placing the seeds into them and covering them up. Ixol quickly moves over to another area in the island, quickly but carefully planting more of the flower seeds.

"This isn't so bad, actually." Voixer said as they watered the area they've planted seeds in.

"It's pretty calming, it helps to keep me distracted. To cope with uh..."

"Your friends?"

"Yeah..."

"Well, don't worry. You still have the others, you have Celesteal, even though neither of us really like him too much even if you forgave him but... At least, you still have them to support you."

"What if they make fun of me for my hobby?"

"They won't. I know that, they might even like it too. Especially Arrolin, they like to grow dash peppers somewhere in their world."

"Oh I didn't know that!"

"They let me taste one, uh, let's just say Verfection went after them afterwards because they said it wasn't all that spicy, but I literally breathed out fire! It wasn't that spicy though."

"... I don't know what to tell you about that."

"You should try it next time!"

"Sure, I'll ask them about it another time. If they're willing to."

Voixer continued to help Ixol plant some flowers, talking to one another about things as the day went on. They surely had a lot of fun.
