Chapter 4 (Mera Mera nomi)

After a while they still continued to argue on who they should eat first or like it me, the fruit first, I don't even care how weird I sounded.

"Your the one who's dying bastard! I've done fas less work than you have! Just eat it already!" Deuce shouted at Ace while trying to push the fruit towards him.

"Don't be sympathetic towards a pirate! Also I can do whatever I want! You ea-!" Ace shouted back when his suddenly cut off by both their stomach growling like a sound of a dragon from how loud it is.

You know what, whatever can you guys eat me already? I don't care how weird I sounded already! Just kill me!

"Alright, how about let's split it in half? And let's eat it at the same time" Ace finally said both their mouth still salivating.

"What a sharp bastard" Deuce responded with a smirk just like Ace, who pretty much split me in half!, but.. what? I don't feel the pain?... And also I feel like my eyes just split in half because I can see differently.

"Well then, seems like lady luck has smiled upon us today" Ace said with a bright smile holding the fruit above his head.

"She has my gratitude" Deuce responded in reply also raising the fruit above his head, Ace then opened his mouth.

'Ahh! Wait! Don't eat me yet!' Is what I want to say! But I'm a fruit I don't have a mouth! Ahh... Ace, and then Ace finally took a bite munching on the fruit but for some reason... I didn't feel.. anything?.

Woah, well that was weird because all of a sudden I flowed right through Ace, my vision on the other half of my fruity body disappearing.

After taking a bite Ace suddenly sigh and then smiled as he spoke.

"It tastes horrible, but thanks to it... we've been revived" he said looking at Deuce who didn't took a bite of my fruit body making him confused.

'that Hurt's you know that Ace? Being called tasted horrible, but well, what can I do? I am a Devil fruit'

"Huh?.. I thought we were going to eat it at the same time?! Don't tell me you've changed your mind?" Deuce didn't say anything before he suddenly looked up gritting his teeth as tears fell on his face.

"My life just flashed before my eyes, I even gave up on my dream, I regret even doubting it" deuce said wiping the tears that threatened to fall.

"So now I've decided to do whatever it takes! To get off this island even if it kills me!" And then he started taking a bite of the fruit in his hand.

"I'm going to write the greatest book ever!" Deuce shouted, Ace smirk in response as he continued.

"What the hell is wrong with this fruit?! It tastes like shit!" 

Ouch you don't have to say like that to me, Ace already said that I hate this two, but now that I think about it, I feel weird, I can feel myself around, I mean more like flowing inside Ace body, can I already use it? Can I even use it though?.

Let's try it then, it's not going to hurt just to try it right? Haha.

"Once again! I'm deeply sorry Ace! I know it's presumptuous of me to asked but..." Deuce said while bowing his head, and then continued.

Alright, suddenly I started to feel weird again and for some reason it's like part of me just flowed out, I chuckled seeing Ace's head now on fire along with his hat.

He even looked natural, he must not feel it, hahaha! Typical Ace.

"Will you help me build another ship?!" Deuce asked and then looked at Ace determined

"I don't have any regrets either!... Uh..." Even Deuce face are hilarious when he finally looked at Ace, all over his head and down to his shoulder now on fire.

"... What's wrong with you?" Ace asked making you laugh to yourself again he doesn't even know as he continued the fruit in his hand looking nonchalant.

"No what's wrong with you?! Your on fire!" Deuce shouted looking shocked his eyes practically poking out.

"Ahh! What the hell is this?!" Ace shouted and started getting into a panic mode, haha, really funny.

"Roll in the dirt now! I'll throw dust on you!" Deuce shouted also getting into a panic mode when Ace suddenly sat there unmoving.

"Wait, hold on a second... this fire, it's not..hot?" Ace said while looking awestruck, his face literally on fire.

Suddenly Ace stood up and pointing his fingers Infront of him, he must have already realised it, well it wouldn't hurt also trying if he can use it freely but if he does and so am I aren't I?.

I feel it, a fire suddenly shoots out of Ace finger to his hand, no actually his arms are on fire, I'm sorry I still can't control it myself too ok?!, let's try calming the fire down.

Welp, it didn't calmed down the fire became only worse but Ace doesn't seem bothered by it even one bit, on the other hand Deuce is now questioning his life, he must have not known about devil fruit not like Ace that is.

"I have a little brother, who ate a devil fruit... And it seems like I have..a fire ability" Ace spoke while smiling, woah, that's cool Ace.
