Chapter 6. Forgiveness And Secrets

Sophie's POV
Yesterday Nick and i decided to go to the local carnival. It was pretty fun. We bumped into jake and gina. They were holden hands. Jake didnt say anything to me. But gina and i had said a few words before they drifted off. I felt a little hurt as jake was holden hands with gina as i really thought he liked me. Ugh what am i saying i have a boyfriend who really cares about me im just being selfish now. I shouldnt be hurt i should be happy for him.

Later that night i decided to give jake an call and finally ask him for forgiveness after what had happened between him and nick. "Hello jake" "hey sophie whats up?" "I was just calling to tell you that i am sorry about lying to nick about what had happened i didnt really know what to say at that moment i didnt want to lose him. I was stupid as you got badly hurt and that was my fault and im sorry" "hey sophie you dont need to keep on apologizing i shouldnt have interferred wiht your relationship i shouldnt have kissed you back. Its all the past now your happy with nick and gina and i are slowly becoming boyfriend and girlfriend which is great. We're still friends right? "Yes of course we are im glad that we got that over and done with well ill talk to you tomrrow bye".

I felt good after that phone call everything was cleared between us. But there was still an small pain in my chest. I couldn't face the fact that jake has moved on. I thought i was the one. I have nick but is he really worth it. He usually parties with other girls and only hangs out with me when i ask him to. I never knew that i would have feelings for jake. I wish that gina and him never met. I know thats selfish of me to say but every since that first day he bumped into me i felt an connection and now its drifting apart as he likes someone else.

Jake's POV
I just got off the phone with sophie. She said she was sorry once again and now we are friends. She left in a hurry. Maybe nick was calling well who knows. Im glad that everything is cleared up now. My feelings for sophie arent fully gone. But most of them feelings i have is for gina. She is like sophie but she is more out going than sophie is.

I caught up with gina at school on monday. She gave me a peck on the lips and hugged me. We both decided that we'd be boyfriend and girlfriend whichbwqs great news. Yeah i know it was fast guys but we had alot in common. She liked sports and was out going like me whch made everything easy. One thing tho shes an fussy eater which is quite hard. We joined sophie and the crew at lunch. It was pretty good having anyone together. Sophie and i were less awkward then usually which was pretty awesome. We decided on what we should do at summer break. We all decided that we should plan an trip to Spain Or france for an week or two. The lunch bell ran and we all departed.

During the end of the i caught up with sarah. We were both heading home. I forgot something in my locker so i handed the car keys to sarah so she could wait in the car. I turned the cover and saw nick and maggie having and make out session. I over heared nick telling maggie not to tell sophie and that he was in love with maggie and using sophie as a play doll. I dropped my locker key causing a noise they both turned there heads to me . nick ran up to me and grabbed my neck and slammed me into the wall he told me not to tell sophie or he would kill me. He punched me in the ribs and walked off. I passed on going to my locker as i couldnt deal with what had happened. I was thinking whether to tell sophie or not. But i was afraid on what would happen to sophie, i couldnt care if nick killed me it would just make me sad at the thought of seeing sophie cry and heart broken. I got into the car and told sarah what had happened she couldnt believe it and told me not to tell sophie as she would be torn. So we both decided to keep it and secret.
