My whole body was aching. My mind was confused. What was this dream. I couldn't understand it. When my eyes opened again, I was laying on hard cold ground of a cave. None of my bones broken.

I looked up seeing nothing by darkness. I must have fallen. I couldn't remember what happened properly. My brain was in fog.

With the support of the wall of the cave that was covered with soft dry moss, I stood up and did a big stretch. Soft moss felt like miniature pillows. Tips of my fingers slid over the softness. It reminded me of the days I would play on the side of the village with few other kids. Being all careless and clueless. Sometimes I wished to get back in time, but I couldn't be selfish now. I felt like I'm so close already.

First step toward, then another one. My legs carried me forward like a wind that carry autumn leaves. Sound of little drops falling from celling to the ground making a little puddle of fluid were the only thing I could hear except my own steps.

Soon I reached stone stairs. They looked stable and made by human not nature. Taking careful slow steps, I soon reached the top stair. For the first time my eyes could see the place I was in now. My jaw dropped as my eyes widened in shock.

The sky had the most beautiful dark denim blue color with shining silver stars looking like the purest shimmer. Full shining moon reflected light just for me to see perfectly on my way. The whole atmosphere of this place was almost magical. It didn't feel real. It felt like a dream. My legs carried me. I felt weightless. All my energy came back like a miracle.

My good mood was cut short when a massive wave of howling wind nearly threw my body back. My arms immediately covered my face.

"Look at us." I heard a raspy whisper near my ears. "Uncover your eyes. We know you want to take a look." Another raspy luring whisper in my second ear.

My eyes stayed closed shut and face covered with my forearms. "Leave me alone!" Desperate yell blurted out of my lips. The wind was so strong and so sharp I could feel it digging and slicing through my skin. Painful whine came out of me. I was stuck in the place, unable to move. The sound of their raspy whispers still occupying my head. It was a trap. I had only one rule. Not to look at them. That was exactly what they wanted so it also meant it could do something serious. Maybe they had same eyes, like a Medusa and could change human into a stone, or maybe it worked like some kind of hallucination.

I kept my eyes shut tighter than any other time. Even if I didn't look at them their attacks didn't stop. Their wind still occupied my body. There was no other choice but to risk it. With all my remaining strength I slammed myself forward. Wind punched me hard back into the middle playing with me like with some kind of doll. I didn't lost hope.

My teeth gritted and I did it again and again. On my sixth try I felt sharp pain. No more howling or whispering I was free. Well mot yet. I could still feel some presence with me. Dagger appeared in my hand soon after. I held it so tightly my knuckles started to turn white while the handle dug into my skin.

As much as I waited no attack came. Like something scared it. My eyes opened looking around. The only thing they left behind them was a circle furrow in the ground. I felt cold shiver go down my body. I didn't know what got into me, but my legs immediately started to run away. My speed started to raise while my lungs begged for me to slow down but adrenaline boosted me. I was unstoppable.

Just when I thought I may be safe again that growl I knew again. Fear spread through my eyes when I saw one of them again. The same black dull eyes with blood on its claws. The moment I thought he will jump at me a bolt of fire burned us both hitting lycan's body hard sending him into the tree few meters from us. The unmoving body of his stayed on the cold ground.
