One week later and three days

Jack groaned as he rolled out of bed, he ran towards his bathroom and slumped over the toilet. Throwing up his dinner from the previous night.

He sighed as he finished, wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and stood up. He flushed the toilet and went to the sink. He brushed his teeth before heading out of his apartment and down to North's office.

He had been throwing up for three days, and he was hating it. At first, he thought it was a twenty-four-hour bug, but now it was turning into a seventy-two hours hug.

He slowly made his way down the stairs and entered North's office. "Ah, Jack. Good morning," the Jolly man said, and Jack gave him a slight smile. "Is something wrong?" North asked, and Jack huffed.

He hated going to North when something was wrong, but he was the doctor of the Guardians so he didn't have a choice. "I think there is something wrong with me, I haven't been feeling all too good for the past few days." He said and North nodded a small frown on his lips.

"Come, let's go to the medical room, I'll check you over." The larger man said and Jack slowly shuffled after him as they went to a door at the back of his office. They entered and Jack sat on the table fiddling with his hoodie strings.

"I'll do a few tests just to make sure everything is OK," North said as he got to work.

Two hours and a few tests later, North came back to Jack with an odd look on his face that the winter Guardian couldn't place. "Well, you're pregnant," North said bluntly, and Jack just stared at him.

"I'm sorry, what?" The smaller male asked, and North handed him a black and white photo.

"That's your baby right there, " He said, pointing to a little bean-sized dot on the ultrasound picture.

"B-b-but how?" Jack stuttered out and North sighed, taking off his glasses, he rubbed his nose before placing them back on.

"We are guardians, Jack," North said as he sat in his doctor's chair. "We are able to do things regular humans can't. One of those is being able to bear children with anyone. The others don't know this because they focus on their work too much and don't read the history books I give them. Now, if you don't mind me asking, who is the other father?" North asked, and Jack blushed, looking away from him.

"Bunny," he mumbled, but North heard him anyway.

"Well, that's going to be a bit complicated," North said, and Jack looked up at him questioningly. "You mated with a bunny; though he is human, he is practically still a bunny. They only remain pregnant for 45 days at the most. But with you being human. I estimate you should go anywhere between six and nine months. They will develop faster than normal human babies, and you have to be more careful now." North said, and Jack frowned.

"Does that mean I have to put off my duties for now?" Jack asked, and North nodded.

"Will you be telling Bunny? I know you two have been avoiding each other since his heart ended, now I know why," he said and Jack sighed.

"I-I don't know." Jack whispered, "I don't think he will want anything to do with me; what happened between us.....was just for his heat." Jack said, and North huffed.

"Right," he said, "Because that's why he comes here every day looking for you," He said as he stood.

"He comes here looking for me?" Jack asked, and North nodded, exiting the room.

Jack sat there for a few more minutes before slowly making his way up to his room, asking one of the elves to bring him some food. He had a lot to think about right now. He didn't know what he was going to do, but he did know one thing. He wouldn't hide it from Bunny.

It was just a matter of how to tell him.
