The group spent two hours practicing with swords, katanas, poles, sanjiegun and daggers.

Geto wielded a three section staff or sanjiegun. He expertly swung it, the weapon slicing through the air making a whooshing sound. He was up against Haibara, who was so energetic and quick he managed to dodge and avoid Getos attacks. Haibara jumped up avoiding a blow aimed at his legs, trying to make him fall.

Shoko and Nanami were up against each other, using a short knife and crecent shaped knife for close range combat.
Shoko held the two crecent blades and swung in an ark, even though she had healing powers, her teacher said it never hurt to learn defense and offense fighting techniques. Making her legs light, twisting her hips and spinning in a circle she regained her balance, avoiding a deadly blow of Nanami. She had an open spot and he lunged for her side. Holding the two blades in front of her, she blocked the hits and made a dash for his wrist, which she managed to nick lightly.

Standing further away, Geto smirked, using the momentum of his body to guide and sway his sanjiegun. It was an intense workout, it meant using the back muscles. His deltoids, latissimus and rhomboid muscles, bunching and flexing. Feeling hot and slick with sweat, he stopped Haibara and with one hand, gripped the neck of his t-shirt from the back and pulled it off. Flinging it to the side, he rolled his neck to the side, closing his eyes. He stood legs wide apart to support his stance. He motioned for Haibara to come at him, curling his fingers in a 'come here' motion.

Haibara had two short wooden sticks with a handgrip. Thick and sturdy, it was a good weapon for close combat.

Paired off with Geto using a weapon for a more medium to further distance, Haibara had a fun challenge, trying to attack Geto. So far he'd been deflecting and blocking his blows. Geto stood tall and sturdy, unaffected but just well worked out. His eyebrow raised slightly at Haibara, who slid to the side, hands flexing on his grip of the pole.

"Focus Haibara" Geto said, "every weapon has its limits, notice mine and you as good as won. There's a shortcoming and limit for every weapon. They all come with advantages and disadvantages," Geto advised. Haibara watched him swing his sectioned staff noticing he was rigid and slower as he switched to each part. His balance was everything to expertly carry his blow out.
