Narrators' POV:
As Li Mei Lin made her way through the crowded halls of the university, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. The encounter with F8 still fresh in her mind, she was grateful for the opportunity to focus on her studies and leave the distractions of romance behind.
Spotting her best friend, Liu Yan, she greeted him with a warm smile, relieved to see a familiar face amidst the chaos of the bustling hallway. However, her moment of respite was short-lived, as her heart skipped a beat when she noticed F8 standing in front of them, their expressions unreadable.
Before Li Mei Lin could react, F8's attention turned to Liu Yan, their faces contorting with disdain as they looked him up and down. Li Mei Lin bristled at the sight, her protective instincts kicking in as she stepped forward to defend her friend.
But before she could utter a word, F8's demeanor shifted, and they turned their attention back to her with a surprising change in attitude. Without a word, they each handed Li Mei Lin a bag filled with gifts and toys, their expressions softening as they looked at her with a mixture of admiration and respect.
Li Wei, the first to approach her, offered her a small smile as he handed her the bag. "For you," he said simply, his tone sincere.
Zhang Kai, his warm eyes reflecting genuine kindness, nodded in agreement. "You deserve it," he said, his voice gentle but firm.
Chen Jun, his playful demeanor replaced with a sense of sincerity, grinned as he added, "Consider it a token of our appreciation."
As Li Mei Lin accepted the gifts with a mixture of surprise and gratitude, she couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion. What had caused this sudden change in F8's attitude towards her? And why were they treating her friend with such disdain?

"What the heck?! why are they being so nice." I said in confusion "Mei I think they don't like me"
I look at my best friend with a warming smile "Don't worry Yan they don't have to like you, me I'm here for you!" I said smiling at him.
