Ayame's Memories

(During breakfast)

Ayame: Are you ok, Mom?

Ms. Ayame: Did you think I was ok when I couldn't find you?

Ms. Ayame: I was looking for you, but you were nowhere to be found.

Ayame: Sorry.

Ms. Ayame: It was a good thing the soldiers found you. I thought that creature killed you.

Ayame: Sorry, Mom.

Ms. Ayame: Please promise me you won't disappear like that ever again. I don't know if my heart can bear the pain of losing my child.

Ayame: ...

Ms. Ayame: Please, Haruka. I don't want to lose you.

Ayame: I promise. I'll try my best.

In the Television

News Anchor: Breaking News. Another crater was found. We still do not know why or how this is happening. It may be a supernatural force responsible for causing these random craters to pop up.

News Anchor: Right now, we have our suspicions that the girl who defeated numerous creatures a week ago is the one who caused these craters. We also suspect those creatures did it, but the masked girl carries more suspicion than the creatures themselves.

News Anchor: The government is still actively searching for that girl. She has recently disappeared after defeating all the creatures. After all, she may be the only one to defeat those creatures.

News Anchor: All people around now call her the masked angel. Some call her the masked goddess stating that her power is much more of that than an angel. The only common aspect they share is that she always wears a mask to hide her identity.

News Anchor: Coincidentally, the strange creatures also disappeared. Some say that this will now be a moment of peace. Others say that this is the calm before the storm. We do not know what happened to these creatures or the masked girl. All we know is they both have powerful powers that no being shall hold.

News Anchor: That is all for the news. Have a good night.

(The news ends and the television rolls to an advertisement)

Ayame's Home

(Ayame turns off the television)

Ayame: It has already been a week since that disaster those aliens caused.

Ayame: I trained to become stronger so no one would get hurt again.

Ayame: Especially for my mom.

Ayame: But why have the aliens not yet appeared?

Ayame: I should be happy, yet why do I feel a sense of impending doom?

Ayame: Maybe it is the calm after the storm.

Ayame: I don't know anymore what is happening. Everything is happening way too unexpectedly.

Ayame: I trained to fight those aliens, yet they are not appearing. Is there something going on?

Ayame: I don't know. I need someone to talk to about this.

(Ayame's memory flashes)
