Y/ᑎ ᑭOᐯ

Everyone cries out with hurt as we tumble to our crash landing outside the the store in a rundown alleyway, cobwebs and dust in our fluff, clothes and hair. The cat hacks up Giggle who looks as though she's not had a wonderful time either. We all gather ourselves together, aching in pain and disappointment after all that work and a let down. Woody's boots appear in front of me a I look up to see him holding his hands out for me to grab. "Is everyone okay?" He pulls me up asking the crowd while helping me dust of my dirty clothing that cobwebs has stuck to.

"I'm sorry I couldn't hold onto Forky." I whisper to the stressed cowboy. "It all happened so fast and he was right there in my arms and..." I start to remind myself of the recent event in a rambled panic.

"Y/n, Y/n! Stop. You did all you could." Woody halts my displeasure with myself while firm hands placed on my shoulder.

Behind me Bo is comforting her sheep while Duke too is conforming his bike. Weird... "Shh. It's okay."

"Bunny? Bunny? Bunny!" Ducky cries out, clutching a bit off fluff beofre his friend sits up "No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. Oh Bunny!"

"It's gonna be okay." Bunny hugs his panicked friend tightly, alright enough of this.

"Forky's still in there. If we hurry, we can get him before they lock him up." Woody gathers himself together, readjusting his belt and striding back towards the broken window. We were so close, how do these ventriloquist dolls with floppy limps keep us out?

"You want us to go back in there?" Ducky speaks up, clearly unhappy with Woody's choice.

"We barely got out alive." Duke sits crouched over his bike, petting it gently.

"Woody, it's better if we wait."  Buzz stands up for the group. Honestly I'm not sure who's side I'm on. I can see that this will be a strain at this point... but it could be possible if we a quick, calculated and careful. Then again our hope is starting to decay and fast. Maybe the extravagance of Bo's plan was too much and we need to simplify things again.

"No, no, no. There's no time. We can easily get back inside." Woody keeps his eyes on that broken window as Buzz and I run after him.

"But I saw Bonnie's..." Buzz starts to speak up, Woody not listening.

"By my count, there were only four dummies." Woody counts his fingers and spots me by his side, pulling along with him.

"Woody stop for a moment and listen to Buzz!" I tug backwards on his arm, looking right at Buzz who's trying so hard for Woody to just listen for a moment.

"But the backpack..." Buzz tries again but the cowboy is too far stuck inside his panicked mind.

"We outnumber them. So, we have the advantage." Is he just flat out ignoring us?

Bo Peep has had enough "Woody, look at us! Nobody is with you. It's over, okay?" She snaps from across the alleyway, her sheep cradled on a trash bag. Woody halts and turns to look at the helpless and exhausted group of toys.

"No. No, no, no. We are wasting time. We can do this."  Woody treads back towards the unenthusiastic lost toys. He sits Duke's plastic bike back upright and shoves a little lost stuffing back into Bunny's side.

"Come on, Pull-string."

"It's not worth it." And again I'm reminded that these toys and Bo just don't understand. I mean yes maybe we shouldn't rush back in but this is worth it! We have to save forky. Bonnie need him.

"Yeah, yes, listen to her!"

"Nobody wants this!" Bo argues.

"I do!" Woody stays focused, pushing the stuffing into Bunny's body. An angry, scrawled expression pulling over his eyebrows.

"Why?"

"Because!"

"Why?" Bo really doesn't like Woody's response. I feel like he's trying hard to hold it all together, and she's getting quite pushy. Understandably but it's not going to end well.

"Just because!" Woody grumbles as Bo forces him up to face her with her crook.

"Why?"

"Because it's all I have left to do!" Woody barks at her, fed up and distressed. It's true. Taking care of Forky right now is all he has, and I will stand by him to help him no matter what it takes even if toys like Bo don't. Bo gasps with shock, looking almost like something has hit her with realisation on the inside. "I don't have anything else." Woody catches his breath slowly.

"So, the rest of us don't count?" Is she not listening? For some reason Bo had taken offence to this, and this angers me. It's shouldn't. But yet her I am stomping over to set things straight with her.

"That's- that's not what I meant." Woody pauses as Bo's light with distaste and frustration.

"Bo you haven't been living in a little girl's room for the past few years." I speak trying to keep my self cool and collected as I begin explaining to her why this is so important. "You haven't seen why Forky needs Bonnie-"

"No. Y/n! Look at him!" Bo growls at me and turns her attention to Woody "You need Bonnie! Open your eyes, Woody. There's plenty of kids out there. It can't be just about the one you're still clinging to." Clinging to? Excuse us but has she lost her mind. Was it all the running around and rough behaviour from out in the wild or is it all the dust and delusion that's got her wrapped around her idealistic delusion.

"It's called loyalty. Something a lost toy wouldn't understand." Woody let's his eyebrow lay low, his voice deep and lost of all kindness. Bo gasps softly and Woody glares at her harshly.

Bo Peep stands there shock casing over features and firmed in tears. She looks between the disappointed cowboy and myself who is very upset with her words. She's not the Bo I use to be close with. She's lost herself and doesn't want to know it. "I'm not the one who's lost." She eyes Woody and I over one more time letting her eyes linger on our tightly intertwined hands. I hope she remembers that sight for the rest of her days as a lost, lonely toy. "Let's get out of here. We've got a carnival that leaves in the morning." She turn around and coldly tells her friends to follow along.

The other toys shove passed Woody and I and I don't let my glare leave the back of Bo's head. Good riddance. Shame it had to end this way. Woody looks down at myself, his meets my eyes. "What do we do now deputy?" He looks as though he's battling his own thoughts as regret flashing through his eyes.

"Bye, Y/n. Good luck with Bonnie, Woody." Bo yells out from over her shoulder. Bland words running from her mouth with a cold tone. That's it, I'm done with her. I step forward taking a large breath in. I'm ready to spit my mind at her by as I prepare to let loose a white, glossy hand pulls me back to turn around.

"Y/n let them go. That's their choice and we shouldn't worry about those who aren't around for us." Buzz speaks calmly, seeing the situation in its full view. He's right, I shouldn't let them get the best of me. If they don't see our point of view after all this than what else can you do? "Woody, you did all you could. Time to go home."

Woody thinks over Buzz's words briefly before making his decision. "No."

"No?" I repeat confused.

Buzz tries to reason with the cowboy with vision is narrowed towards Forky, "Woody."

Woody pulls me along, climbing up the wall of the building "I don't leave toys behind, Buzz."

"But Woody stop.." I try to speak up while dodging broken glass and dangerous raw edges on wood and bricks.

"Yeah, but, Woody, you're actually leaving..." Buzz tried to speak up as Woody leaves him behind, not listening to either of us.

"Not now. Not ever." And we were inside the dark, cobwebbed building where our friend awaits.

Poor Buzz :(
