12. 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 {𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘦}

Grace woke up in her bed and frowned. She didn't like it. Nick wasn't there. She knew he wasn't there as he hadn't stopped over. He had Zara for the night and Grace knew that she had spent the night alone

Grace lay in bed as she sat messaging Addie. She had no idea what had happened since the wedding but she was worried and wanted to know if Addie was okay

Gracd sighed as she looked to her phone to see a message off of Olivia. Saying that she was at the door. Mia stood up and walked to the door and answered it as she saw her mom

"Hey. I have to go and see a possible victim I wanted to know if you would come with me" Olivia asked

"Em sure" Grace said as Olivia looked to her and smiled

"Have you women to Addie? Did you know over her and babes?" Olivia asked

". I text her. Give me five minutes to get dressed and I'll come with you" Grace said as Olivia smiled. She frowned as she saw the two glasses that side in the side

"Two glasses? Did you have company " Olivia called as grace frowned

"Oh yeah"

"Who he is. Don't think I have noticed the smile on your face" Olivia said as grace walked out of her bedroom as she tugged her blouse into her skirt. She knew that she and Nick were still keeping their relationship secret

"He's no one you need to know about just yet" Grace said as Olivia nodded. Grace knew they the last thing that she needed was her mom to know over her and Nick

Grace got to a cafe with Olivia "so who are we meeting here" Grace asked

"Over here" Olivia said as they saw a woman sitting there

"Avery Jordan?"

"Hi."

"I'm Detective Olivia Benson. This is Grace benson" Olivia said as forget sat down

"Hi.A colleague gave me your number.Um, thanks for meeting me here.I didn't want to get photographed walking into the precinct."

"I certainly understand.So you said on the phone that something happened to you." Olivia said

"Yeah, but I'm not sure that I want to-- or even if you think it's worth--"

"Pressing charges?" Grace asked as she nodded

"Okay, one step at a time.So why don't you start by telling me why you called" Olivia said

"I was...I was in my home and somebody that I know... attacked me." Avery said

"Okay, so it was a sexual assault." Grace said

"Yes."

"And when did this happen?" Olivia asked

"I should have called sooner.It was--I was traveling for work. It was a month ago."

"Did you tell anyone else about this at the time?" Grace asked
