14- Hospital

Author's Pov:

Everyone were shocked seeing Aradhya fainted in Aryan's hands. They all rushed up on the stage. Aryan was calling out her name but she didn't open her eyes. Disha got water and sprinkled some on her face but it was of no use too

Aryan lifted her up and carried her all the way till the entrance and the chauffeur already bought the car till the entrance door on the orders by the PA of Shikhar Adani.

Aryan placed her on the passenger seat of the car gently and he drove the car not before telling both the family members he's driving her to family doctors hospital. The family members drove back of them while Aradhya's parents were continuously crying.

"It is all because of me. My poor child.." Aradhya's dad cries out while her mom tries to console him in the car "Calm down, Nitesh. She's going to be okay"

They reached the hospital and Aryan carried her till the VIP ward, the nurses were shocked to see Aryan there as to how did the man who has never visited hospital till now ended up here that too with a woman in that attire. The family doctor quickly came into the room and she analysed Aradhya and asked him to relax to which he replied he's fine

"Nothing to worry sir, her blood pressure got low. Didn't she eat anything since morning?" The doctor asks. How the fuck would I know? He thought to himself.

"I don't know" Aryan says in the most stoic way possible to which doctor frowns but she covers it up with a smile

"So is she the one?" The doctor asks to which he gives a half knod while looking at Aradhya

"We'll just inject her a saline and she'll be fine within an hour. You can take a seat" she asked him to sit on the sofa's arranged next to the bed

Both the families enter entered the room. Aradhya's parents panicked and proceeded to go near her when the doctor asked them to wait and said that she'll be fine

Aryan left the room as he got a call. Shikhar followed back of him and asked him to stop to which Aryan stops in his tracks and looks back. Shikhar proceeded to walk till him

"I'm proud of you" he says while patting his head. Aryan had an emotionless face though he was confused as to why he was acting that way

"You would be. After all you've ruined my life" Aryan jerks his hand off by talking steps backwards and leaves from there

You'll not regret my decision son, I promise. Shikhar thought to himself and goes back into the room

Aradhya got up after an hour and she took time to process what's happening around her. That's when all her family members hugged her and asked her how's she feeling to which she replied that she was feeling better now. Aryan's family was also quite concerned as her own family and Aradhya felt a bit better seeing their care towards her. Aryan's grandmother started feeding fruits to Aradhya while scolding her on why she didn't eat to which everyone laughed.

Once everyone were at peace that Aru was fine she was searching for that one person in the room but he was nowhere to be seen. Disha noticed this and whispered her "Don't worry, he'll be here soon" to which Aru gave a smile

She still had the engagement ring in her hand and she didn't let go of it when she fainted.

Aryan entered the room and that's when Disha told him that his fiancé was waiting for him. Aradhya was a bit flushed but she quickly covered it. He was typically emotionless as usual.
Aru was remembering the things what Chavi said in the engagement on how Aryan called her trash and she was a bit hurt by it.

Aryan walks in almost next to her bed and looks at her bluntly.

"I'm glad you're doing well. I'll be leaving now uncle & aunty" he says and proceeds to leave

"Wait!" Aru asks him to stop to which he turns back and raises his eyebrow

But she remained silent for few minutes so he decided to leave again that's when she caught his hand with her left hand, his hand was too big for her so she couldn't even catch the entire hand. He stops in his tracks seeing the hand that she caught for a while and then looks up at her with his cold face. A thunder ran in her spine by his look and she instantly leaves his hand.

"So- sorry" she proceeds to open her right hand and he sees the ring in her hand.

He puts his right hand forward and she proceeds to put the ring on him. Thats when she remembers the last words he told her. *Don't touch me with your filthy hands*

She shivered a little while bringing the ring towards his finger. He noticed this and he proceeded to catch the hand in which she was holding the ring and makes her keep the ring till his knuckles. This took her by surprise but she felt at peace knowing he didn't mind about it. A sudden loud applause was heard in the room by both the family members and they were all laughing happily that's when Aryan whispers Aradhya, saying..

"This was the best act I've seen till date. You should get used to it forever by now. Next time instead of fainting, try something new. What a desperate attempt!" he smirks and leaves. Aradhya laid there still processing his words being confused while her eyes welled up a little. She probably wouldn't have taken it seriously but it was a very difficult day for her today and he didn't had to make it worse.
