Third person pov.Hyunjin finished all of his work for the day, he exhaled out of relief now that he was able to rest for a bit. He isn't the type to take breaks until all work was done, and after five years he finally managed to get an hour worth of rest despite being at work.
Felix was out of the office, collecting some papers from other employees to finalize the monthly spendings to Hyunjin. So Hyunjin had the entire office to himself, feeling slightly happy about it.
Hyunjin got up from his desk and walked over to his coffee machine to make some coffee for himself since he was in need of energy. Hyunjin looked over at his options with a small pout on his face. He ran out of cappuccino, so all he had left was espresso.
He sighed, proceeding to make an espresso for himself. Once it was done, he took the mug in his hands and sat down on the black leather couch. He rested his back against the pillows, happily taking a sip out of his coffee.
He smiled in satisfaction, placing the mug on the glass table before placing his head back. Hyunjin closed his eyes, getting immersed in his thoughts. 'I don't really know much about Felix, do I...? Even though he knows almost everything about me.' Hyunjin thought, narrowing his eyebrows in the process
That's when the door to the office opened, disrupting his thoughts. Though he was curious who walked in, he felt too tired to sit up so he stayed in the same position hoping the person would announce themselves.
"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting you sir... But we're having problems at the lounge." The person said nervously
'I recognize that voice...'
"Jeongin, is that you?" Hyunjin asked
Jeongin jumped up slightly, "Y-yes. I'm sorry if I woke you up..."
Hyunjins gaze softened upon locking eyes with Jeongin, truth to be told Hyunjin always had a soft spot for Jeongin regardless of the way things had ended between them.
"You didn't interrupt anything." Hyunjin smiled "What's the issue?"
"I think it's best if you see for yourself, sir." Jeongin said, a low tone in his voice
"How bad can it be?" Hyunjin shrugged before following Jeongin to the lounge
(~‾▿‾)~
"You've got to be kidding me." Hyunjin said with visible disappointment in his gaze
"Yeah... He's been like that ever since a customer forced him to take shots with them." Jeongin said
Hyunjin sighed, "I know I've said to always listen to the customers orders, thinking that you guys would know where to call the line at."
"W-why is the handsome CEO here, Innie?" Wooyoung asked tapping Jeongin on the shoulder in his drunken state
"Wooyoung! Don't call him that-"
"Handsome CEO?" Hyunjin chuckled
Jeongin gulped, his eyes fixated on Hyunjin still. Hyunjin had the sleeves of his button-up lifted up to his knuckles, his tie hanging loose revealing a part of his chest. His hair was slightly messy, a smile present on his face as he gently brushed the tears away from his eyes.
Jeongin quickly snapped out of it, slapping himself mentally for looking over at Hyunjin like that.
"Sorry about him sir, he's not in his right state of mind." Jeongin said
"Ohh come onnn Jeongin~ who doesn't think the CEO is hot? I heard all of the employees were drooling over him during the 'open doors' event!" Wooyoung said
