Days passing by gently, similar to a stroke of wind. Catching a glimpse, and before they knew, dark faced them once more. Though it appeared lovely, all Felix ever wished for was the ability to stop time even if it was for a short while. Only to feel once more, when the extraordinary became his ordinary. And as time passed, the clock ticked another years passing with them together. Hyunjin and Felix, despite overcoming many battles together, there are still those which they are yet to encounter. A year of their engagement passed and here Felix was, seated at Hyunjins desk wondering where he ran off to now.
"A new errand perhaps?" - he thought to himself
That was his life now, from work to exhaustion. There was nothing more. Hyunjin started working over time, Jisung resigned to focus on his career, as for his brother Minho... Despite being devastated at the news of Jisung resigning, he stayed at the hotel and was now working with new employees. To everyone's shock, Minho was no longer strict nor a man of principles. He was rather calm and practical, love changes people perhaps?
Crazy to think how much a year can change a person, a short amount of time yet so many things have taken a turn... Whether for the better or the worst, why don't I let you be the judge of it all?
Despite Felix's long wait, no news circled of Hyunjin roaming the hotels corridors. A bit upset and exhausted, he laid himself back into the chair and let out a sigh. "How did it come to this?" Felix said to himself
"Everything has to come to an end, right?" He chuckled "Perhaps, it's those who still believe in fairytales like I do, are the ones who are clinging onto disappointment."
As Felix got up to take his break, he recieved a phone call. He picked up without bothering to look at the contact name, figuring he'll deal with whoever it was.
"Hello?" - he answered
"Felix. It's Hyunjin, I need you to get home now." - he said, making it sound more like an order than a suggestion
"You decide to call me after four hours of me waiting for you at work, and to tell me that?"
"Don't have much time. I expect to meet you there." - Hyunjin said before ending the call
"What are you doing there-" He didn't get to finish, letting out a sigh Felix grabbed his coat and walked out
On his way home, Felix went over countless possibilities in his head. "Did Hyunjin really forget what today is?" Upsetting himself even more with the thought
In truth, Hyunjin has been growing distant with Felix for some time now. No one really knew why nor how, but it happened. He was occupied with work with no free time on his hands, though he didn't make contact with Felix even when they shared an office. This worried Felix more as day passed, and now he ordered him home? Something isn't right for sure.

"I'd like those balloons a little more to the right." - he said to Chan
Chan, with his sleeves rolled back stood on a chair while trying to put every detail in its place. "Here?" - he asked, turning his head towards Hyunjin
"Hmm..." Hyunjin observed with his fingers pressed against his chin "Seems about right. I'm also going to put this one up." He smiled upon picking a painting he finished recently
Chan chuckled, "And here I thought your heart grew cold."
"Don't remind me." Hyunjin sighed "He's being too needy with the little time I have on my hands."
"Not taking sides but, you've kind of been unavailable for him. Of course he'd demand more time with you." Chan responded calmly "Why the sudden change of attitude?"
"It's our anniversary, I couldn't bring myself not to prepare something for him." Hyunjin answered as he finished putting up the painting
"Looks nice bro." - Jisung budged in between the two
"How'd you get in here?!" Chan and Hyunjin yelled in unison
Jisung laughed, "Minho told me you needed a hand."
"Dude, you scared the shit out of me. Could've given me a heart attack." Chan said, grabing his chest
"Sorry dad." Minho said while placing the cake on the table
"There you are. How'd it go with the lady at the shop?" Hyunjin asked through a smile
"Not the greatest as you can tell by the time. She's been up my ass for about thirty minutes." Minho replied
"Didn't think you'd ever bottom." Jisung added, wiggling his eyebrows at Minho
"TMI dude, TMI." Chan sighed out, making the three laugh
Then a sound of the doornob turning was heard by them to which they got into their positions while Hyunjin walked into the living room to act out what he planned. "Hyun?" Felix called out
"Here." Hyunjin said from the living room
Felix then walked into the room, seeing Hyunjin standing in front of the window. Looking out of it while Felix was admiring his back. "He's gotten buff..."
"Now that you're here, do me a favor and close your eyes." Hyunjin said
"What?"
"Go on..." Hyunjin walked up to Felix "Close them for me." He said, taking a hold of Felix's hand as he guided him
Chan, Jisung and Minho all in their positions as the other two walked in. And once Hyunjin turned on the lights, the room flooded in confetti: "Happy anniversary!"
Felix let out a loud gasp while placing his hands against his mouth, "No way. You remembered?!"
Hyunjin smiled, "Of course I did."
"He only acted cold because he felt his dominance lowering." Jisung said while rolling his eyes
"Speaking of dominance, roll those eyes again and I'll show you what it is." Minho joked back
"Whoa, calm down there boy." Jisung said guarding himself with his arms against his chest, acting out a shiver resulting in Minho's laugh getting louder
As those two bickered, Felix walked up to the painting with a smile. Hyunjin walked up behind him, wrapping his arms around Felix. "I see you doubting, I love you. No changes there."
"I love you too." Felix said through a giggle
