"Hey there, butt munch." I said sitting next to Zoro as his eyebrow twitched.

"Can't you at least call me something more flattering, runt?"

"Hmmm. Well I don't think calling you sexy out in the open like this is a good idea." I teased.

Zoro grinned and rubbed his neck as he looked at me. "Well you just did."

    "Mmm, you're right

"Mmm, you're right. I did. Whatcha gonna do about it?"

Zoro looked away from me, making me lean against him as I puffed my cheeks.

"What's been up with you, lately?" I muttered. He was there. He was right there, but I missed him. I missed him a lot.

"I'm just sitting here." He said, still looking away. "I'm right here."

"Prove it." I muttered, closing my eyes. I could hear him huffing through his nose as his hand slid down my thigh, giving me goosebumps.

"Happy?" He said, peering at me.

"Not until we are in another room snuggling."

"Snuggling or fucking?" Zoro said, sending chills up my spine.

"At this point, I'll take what I can get." I sighed, leaning into him. Zoro took in a sharp breath.

"I've been too distant." He muttered.

"Like you're miles away." I said, confirming his words.

"I'm sorry." He said, putting his arm around me. I leaned into his chest and sighed.

    "It's my fault, not yours."

"It's not your fault. Please don't think that."

I looked up at him and he looked back apologetically. "Then kiss me."

Zoro didn't hesitate, cupping my face in his hand and leaning down to give me a long and sweet kiss. It gave me butterflies in my stomach as I swooned into him. He took a breath in as he kissed me and I reciprocated, laying my hand softly on his. When he pulled away, he pressed his forehead into mine and sighed. I really liked when he did that. It made me feel so much closer to him. In fact, it was the closest I had felt since we were in the shower together.

"Do you want to go somewhere?" He asked, pulling me into his lap.

"We don't have to." I sighed, kissing him on the cheek and settling into his arms. "I just wanted to feel close to you."

"Mmm." He hummed, placing his head on my shoulder. He took a deep breath, nuzzling his cheek into mine.

He had been so quiet lately, so pensive. Thoughtful. It made me wonder what he was thinking. Ever since I cut him off that day, he had been pulling away. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. Was I supposed to let this die out? Or chase it? Let it go? Or never let go? Why couldn't I figure out what I wanted?
