I Was Always Yours

PROLOGUE

Author's POV  

Today is the day , our couple was awaiting for from so long ! Yes , today is the day when both the families are meeting at Tanu's house to discuss about Sohit and Tanu's wedding and decide the wedding date. Both of them are way too excited for today , getting ready to get complimented from eachother , unaware of the storm awaiting them !  

Sohit's POV  

Today is the best day for me , for us ! I am finally getting married to the love of my life and today our families are meeting to discuss about it and decide the wedding date. Feels unbelievable right ? My Ladaku Viman is finally going to be my wife. No one can be Happiest than me today. I just hope that this happiness of our's is saved from the Evil's eye. 

So , my day started , as usual by Her Good Morning voice note.  I smiled. How can she daily send me good morning voice notes without fail ? And with that thought in my mind , I rushed towards my bathroom to do the daily routine. After getting my Job done , I came out in my room and started getting ready for the day but not once did her thought left my mind. That's her Effect on me , she has captivated Me with her thoughts. Her face , her eyes , her smile is so surreal that anyone would want to just stare her. No no not anyone that's only my right ! yes . I will pull out those eyes from their sockets of those who dare to stare my girl ! In these thoughts , I was ready. I was leaving for breakfast downstairs when my phone rang with the most loving ringtone and I already knew who the caller was ! I smiled and received the call only to hear a panicked and nervous voice before I could even utter a hello ! And here we go again ! She was again anxious thinking nonsense things and I spent half an hour to make my baby calm. I am so used to it now. She was feeling anxious that  something bad might happen. Oh , my Poor baby ! I made her understand that everything is going to be well and soon we are going to get married. And with that , I end the call promising her that I am coming soon to her. She was calm now but uncertainty started dwelling in my mind. I shrugged those thoughts and went downstairs only to me greeted by my lovely Mother India. Oh yes , my family has already arrived day before yesterday and also Tanu's parents arrived last week. 

We had our breakfast chitchatting with me teasing my sister and her whining. I just love to irritate her. So around 11 am we were all set to leave for her house. We were leaving when my phone rang. I checked and it was an unknown number. I asked my parents to leave and I will soon join them. To which they agreed and left. I received the call , and after that my world came crashing down with all my dreams and hopes trembling down and broken into pieces. I never thought even in my dreams that this day could turn like this ! My world just turned upside down completely ! Whatever the caller said , it went deaf to my ears and only her face came in front of my eyes. How will I tell this to her ! 

Author's POV 

Sohit's Parents reached her home and her parents welcomed them. They all got seated and Tanu comes running to them and hugs Sohit's mother tightly. 

Tanu : "Kaise ho Maa aap ?" ("How are you Mom?").
To which she smiled and replied , "Ekdam badhiya." ("All Good").

She smiled and looked around the room , confusion evident on her face which didnt go unnoticed by Sohit's mother. She playfully commented , "The one you are waiting for is coming soon ! He got a call." To which Tanu blushed slightly looking down and nods. 
They all laughs teasing her and soon he joins. But he looked restless. He was so anxious but somehow tried to hide it. He badly wanted , at the moment , to meet her alone and tell her the reason of his uneasiness as her decision will decide their's future ! 

What will be the reason that made Sohit go this anxious and Restless ?  What storm is awaiting them ? what was that he was hiding from Tanu ? What does a small call conveyed Sohit that rattled him so much ?  Many questions but the Answers will be revealed in this Book as the story unfolds !
