It was Friday morning the rain was heavy, tapping on your window while you were in your bed slowly waking up, you open your eyes and put your feet on the cold floor walking to the bathroom,when you walk in you start combing your light brown hair while looking in the mirror,when you are done you go back to your room to put some clothes on,you pick white pants and oversized hoodie with a grey shirt under,and walk Down for breakfast while your dad with your Brother are talking and eating,and your mother is making the eggs in the kitchen,you sit down and look at the two talking.

Your dad turns to you "Good morning Nic,are you coming for qualify with us?" He asks with a smile on his face,I knew that he wanted to just show me to the media and I knew he would be ignoring me because he needed to focus on Max.
"Yea sure."I say with a fake smile, because why should I smile when I know he doesnt really care.After a while mom came from kitchen with food and we began to eat,of course I was invisible everyone was talking about Max and his racing."Dad I was thinking if I could go karting after."I look at my father hoping he would allow me to go,He looks at me "Nicole I thought we talked about this, racing is not for girls."He says looking at me quiet angry. "Dad but you didnt seen her karting,she is really good." Max says trying to help me.
"Max dont get in this conversation,I said no Nicole and im not changing my words." He says,I get up from the table and go to my room angrily slamming the door "Why doesn't he believe in me" I say for myself,after while I hear a knock on my door,I open and see Max standing there. "Nic im really sorry for father,I promise I will take you karting after qualify without dad knowing,now we should head to track." He says,I loved Max he believed in me and was helping me,So I go with him down to the car where dad was waiting for us And we head there.

When we get there the paparazzi's were waiting for us there,they were screaming and pushing like crazy I felt little anxious because I think no one likes when a lot of people is staring and talking about them,we get from the car I quickly hold Max's hand while we go thru the crowd,suddenly some paparazzi push on us And I get off his arm and I get lost all alone in the crowd not knowing what to do having tears and feeling more and more anxious,suddenly I feel someones arm on my shoulder and then a sweet voice "are you lost?" I look behind me and see one of the McLaren drivers my dad hates,I nod with tears while he smiles at me and helps me thru the crowd,when we get to paddock I let out a big sight and look at him "thank you so much." I smile at him "So you are the Horners daughter." He says with grin
I nod and look in redbull and see my father looking at me "Im sorry I gotta go." i say and run to redbull,when I get there dad is looking at me quiet angry and I can see little dissapointment in his eyes.
"Nic what did I say about talking to McLaren boys,you know they are our Rivals." Of course I know I can't talk with them but he was there for me and helped me from the crowd,oh gosh how I hate my father.
"Yea I know,it wont happen again." I say while I go to Max.
"Nic i am really sorry I left you there." Max says apologizing.
"Its Okay Max,Its not your fault they were too pushy,and im here So nothing happened."I say softly while smiling at him,He smiles at me too and I go sit while he goes to his formula,he drive off redbull and the qualify beggin,of course its like every single qualify/race,Max wins,dad is proud,im invisible.When he wins we go celebrate with him while I see eyes on me so I look around seeing again the McLaren boy looking at me And smiling,he won third place and he is celebrating with his team too,my dad looks at me seeing i am looking at something so he looks where i am looking and see Lando.
He looks back at me "Nicole dont even think about it,you know the rules." I look at him "dont worry." I look at Max heading to redbull with the enginers,so I run to him.
When I get to him I hug him "Im so proud of you Maxie." I say while he is hugging me back.
"I couldnt done it without your support." We were hugging and then everyone is going to take photo,after the photos I go to walk thru paddock while max and dad are talking while packing some things,I bump into someone.
"im really sorry."I say
"Its Okay little Horner." I look at him and see Lando standing there.
"I should probably go back." I was nervous,i didnt want dad to catch me talking with him.
"Why are you trying to dissapear again,why are you so nervous?"He says looking at me confused.
"Im really sorry i Have to go." I run to redbull while i could feel his eyes on me,when I get there they are already packed so we go to the car and drive back home.

At home
When we arrive Max go to his room while I go behind him "So Max are we going to go karting later?" I say hoping he will say yes.
"Yea Nicole but we aren't going to be there a long time,Im going to party with the other drivers"He says.
"Okay,I dont mind."I say happily.
"I was thinking if you wanna go partying with me today."He says while looking at me.
I smile at him because I know he just wants to make me happy. "Thank you Max,I would love to but you know dad,he wont let me." I look quiet dissapointment because I really wanna go with him,but I can't make dad more angry when he seen me with Lando.
"Then I will sneak you out." Max says with a Grin.
"I will think about it,can we finally go karting?"I say with Puppy eyes.
"meet me down in the car in 20 minutes." He says And I leave to my room to get ready,I put on my racing suit that Max gave me and put oversized clothes over it So dad dont see it,I go on tippy toes to his car and we drive,we listen to music while driving.
"So you wanna come to the party?"He asks while his all focus is on the road.
"Max you know dad,I can't get in trouble." I say quietly sad
"I will help you sneak out and I will cover up dont worry So you wanna come or no." He asks once again.
"I would love to!" I say,And we smile at each other,after while we get to the place and go into our karts,I was bumping into him,I was winning and the best thing on this was that I was again the happy child my spark,i felt the child in me while racing.
After while we get from the karts And head home.
"Nicole I Have plan,8pm go to sleep,and stay awake,when dad will come and check on you,you will text me and I will take care that you will have tje best night of your life."Max says happily while driving.
"This wont end up good." I say giggling.
When we get home,we go to our rooms on tippy toes and around 5pm we go eat dinner.

At the dinner dad is talking with Max about strategies while I talk with my mom,after I eat I go to my room and get ready putting on my dress covering it up with pajama and at 8pm I go to bed as Max told me,around 8:45 dad came to check on me and when he left I texted Max.

Max:Great,I am almost there

I put the phone on my table looking from window at the sky,suddenly I hear rock falling on my window,so I look from the window and can't believe my eyes.....
