Aleksei's voice pierced through the room's silence as he greeted Celeste with a cold "Good morning." Still groggy from a restless night, Celeste struggled to open her eyes and adjust to the dimly lit surroundings. It was hard to tell how long she had been locked in the room, but she knew better than to ask. Aleksei's following words confirmed her fears: "Get up. You're going to a lab today." Celeste's heart sank as she slowly rose from the cold, hard floor, bracing herself for another day of unknown horrors.

Aleksie's voice was urgent as he grabbed Celeste's arm, his eyes locking onto hers with intensity. "I have given you everything you will need to recreate the serum. Please don't disappoint us," he said firmly, his grip tightening as he pulled her along.

As they moved, Celeste couldn't help but notice the sudden change in surroundings. The darkness and coldness of before replaced a warm and bright atmosphere. The sun shone on them, casting a golden glow over everything around them. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and birds singing in the distance. It was as if they had stepped into an entirely different world.

Celeste's eyes widened in awe when they stepped into the lab. Her dream lab had come to life before her very eyes. It was immaculate and filled with all the equipment and tools she had ever wished for, which she had once only circled in her books, hoping to one day afford them. Amazed by the sight, she couldn't help but ask, "What is this place?"

Aleksie grunted as he spoke, his words laced with frustration. "Celeste, this is your laboratory we're talking about here. I didn't expect you to make such a foolish mistake."

Celeste's eyes widened as she entered the lab, expecting a run-down, poorly-maintained facility. Instead, she was met with a surprisingly well-lit and clean workspace. "I thought I was going to get a beat-down one. Not one that looks so...nice?" she said, still in disbelief. She took a moment to look around once more, admiring the pristine equipment and organized workstations.

Aleksie towered over the young blonde girl; his face contorted into a sneer. With a hint of disdain, he spoke, "Our work demands the best effort from you. And it would be helpful if this place wasn't a dump, as you Americans say." He paused momentarily, letting his words sink in, before barking his final command, "Now get to work!"

Celeste's heart skipped a beat as she jumped in fright. She had been on the receiving end of the tall man's yelling for too long and longed for him to leave. Once he did, she cautiously made her way to her new workstation, taking in the surroundings of the lab. Amidst all the gleaming equipment and high-tech gadgets, she couldn't help but notice a small, beat-up radio that caught her attention. It was eerily similar to the one she had purchased years ago, which was most likely collecting dust in her apartment by now.

After fiddling with the radio dial for a while, Celeste's patience paid off as she finally found a station free from static interference. As the radio crackled to life, her ears were greeted with updates on the ongoing war. The urgency in the announcer's voice made her heart race with a newfound sense of motivation. She listened intently, eager to learn more about the latest developments in the conflict.

As Celeste sat at her desk, she could feel the weight of the task at hand. She knew she needed to focus all her energy on developing the serum that would change the course of medical history. With a newfound sense of motivation, she took a deep breath and got to work. She meticulously wrote down numbers and words, ensuring that she did not miss any detail that could be crucial to the success of her experiment. She was so engrossed in her work that she didn't even notice the passing of time. Looking at her notes, she realized that her handwriting had become almost illegible due to the speed at which she was working. Despite this, she felt a sense of accomplishment, knowing she had given her all to the task.

A deep voice suddenly filled the room as Celeste sat nervously at her desk, causing her to jump in surprise. Looking up, she saw a man standing before her, his stern expression making her uneasy. "Okay, Celeste," he said, his voice laced with authority. "Let's see what you have done today." Celeste hesitated momentarily before handing him the papers she had been working on all day. The man took them from her hand and began to scrutinize them, his eyes scanning the words with an intensity that made Celeste uneasy. As he continued to read, Celeste couldn't help but wonder what he thought of her work.

Aleksis made a disapproving "tsk" sound with his mouth, indicating his dissatisfaction with something. With a determined look, he said, "Now, let's test this out," suggesting that he was ready to take action and see if the situation could be improved.

Celeste's voice quivered as she spoke, her eyes fixed on the object before her. "Who are you planning to test this on?" she asked, her concern palpable. "It could kill someone."

Aleksis raised his voice, yelling at the top of his lungs, "Guards! Get rid of the girl. She has outlived her usefulness and is no longer of any value."

Celeste's heart beat heavily in her chest. Two large guards grabbed the blonde by the arm, dragging her out. "Wait! No! I can still help you, so please don't do this!"

As the guards roughly let go of Celeste, she stumbled and fell onto the cold, unforgiving snow. She felt the icy flakes seeping through her clothes and piercing her skin, sending shivers down her spine. The adrenaline coursing through her veins made her heart beat so fast that she could feel it pulsating in every part of her body. Despite the fear and uncertainty that gripped her, she knew she had to find a way to survive this ordeal.

Celeste found herself in a precarious situation, surrounded by guards who seemed to be under the command of someone named Aleksis. One of the guards looked at her with contempt and regret and uttered, "Too bad you are so pretty, but we cannot disobey Aleksis." Celeste was confused and scared, not knowing what would happen to her. She desperately wanted to survive but felt helpless, as if her fate was out of her hands. At that moment, she closed her eyes and braced herself for whatever would come next.

She heard the click of the gun and took one last breath.
