(Hunter's POV)

"You sure kid?" I looked at her.

"I'm sure." She nodded.

Tech helped her get in, and pushed it back over the hole. Wrecker sat against the wall to cover it up. Omega carefully crawled through the vent, but it started creaking.

(Standard POV)

The clones started questioning, and Wrecker said something really stupid. I could picture the, 'I'm so done,' faces from Tech and Hunter.

Without warning, I felt a strange sense of panic. Omega reeked of it, but she was brave anyway, and she fell through the floor.

The boys stood up.

"Omega!" Hunter hissed, "the panel!"

She ran towards it, but she grabbed mine instead. After realizing what she did, she tried to grab the other lever, but the clones got her first. However, it was my prison that she released. I transformed, not caring if Vial would detect me or not.

I created smoke around me, and made my eyes glow a brilliant (y/f/c). The clones stopped what they were doing to look at me. I growled, and snapped into action. I slammed one clone against the wall, and slashed at another with my claws. I covered Omega with my tail, and made sure not to kill the clones. I regretted turning around to see Omega's terrified expression. She quickly released the others. I untransformed, and walked up to them. I carelessly tossed them blasters, and walked to the doorway.

"Don't be careless like that y/n." Hunter scolded.

I lifted both of my eyebrows, and nodded at the same time.

"We find Crosshair, and then we get out of here." Hunter continued.

I fell in behind Tech, who was the third one in line. We ran out of the room, and quickly down different hallways. Omega continuously copied Hunter, which was honestly adorable. Although, quite a few times she gave me a nervous glance. I frowned, she was afraid of me; I did not blame her. I was afraid of myself oftentimes.

We ran to a corner and paused to watch some guards go by.

Tech sighed, "we're not going to get very far without our gear."

We all looked at him.

"We can go to the hanger then," Omega chimed in again, "that's where all your stuff is!"

"Fine," Hunter looked down, "hanger first, then Crosshair."

We made our way to our hanger quickly.

"Alright boys suit up," Hunter began quickly, "and let's make this quick."

I had no need to suit up, so I just waited by Tech. I held some of his things for him while he put his armor on. He finished quickly, and gave me a nod as thanks.

"Now to find Crosshair." Hunter said as he finished.

I saw Omega's head pop up, "I don't think we'll have to go far."

And there he was. Crosshair. Standing with a bunch of clone troopers, and opposing us.

"Is that..." Wrecker began as we hid, "Crosshair?"

"Tech," Hunter turned to us, "get the ship ready!"

"Affirmative," he said as he ran into the cockpit.

I ducked quickly from a warning shot Crosshair fired. Hunter and him conversed about him joining the empire, and normally I would be paying attention, but I was too shocked to hear what they were saying. I thought deeply about the inhibitor chips, and thought about what I could have prevented. There were tears in my eyes until I ducked again. They sprang from my face and landed on the ground.

"Y/n, we need a distraction!!" Hunter yelled at me.

As I looked over the side of the crate slightly I noticed Wrecker was on the ground. I had not even noticed that a smoke bomb detonated. I nodded to Hunter, and I leapt forward. I took my blades from my sleeves and turned them into a large shield. I covered Wrecker, and I slowly made my way back to the ship with him.

"Tech!" I roared through comms.

"I'm working on it!" He responded quickly.

I had my back to the entrance of the ship, with Wrecker slightly on top of the bridge.

"Omega get behind y/n," Hunter pointed to me.

Omega hesitated, but came anyway. She clung to my side as I deflected more and more shots. Crosshair was taking aim at my heels now, trying to expose a more prominent body part.

"Tech we're out of time!" Hunter warned.

"Almost got it!" Tech said, a small amount of panic in his voice.

Echo and Hunter slowly slunk towards the ship, and were at the bridge. The ship powered up quickly, and soon Hunter and Echo were running inside the ship. I knew my job well, wait until everyone gets on, then slowly back up. Hunter and Echo dragged Wrecker away, but Omega was still behind me.

"Go Omega!" I grunted.

This time she did not waste any time, she hurriedly walked up the bridge. I smiled, but my face fell when I saw Crosshair taking aim. Without warning, I thrust my arm out to block an incoming shot that tried to reach Omega. She looked terrified and grateful at the same time. Then, the bridge began to close, and I jumped into the ship when it was halfway done.

We escaped quickly after that... shaken, and defeated. I clutched my open wound which had now begun to bleed. I squeezed to stop the bleeding, but waited. Tech was using the medical supplies on Wrecker; he had sustained a bigger injury than I did. He always took a while, so it would be some time before I could treat my wound.

"You're making this very difficult," Tech said through clenched teeth, "hold still."

"Wait!!" Wrecker said quickly, looking around the room furiously, "WHERE IS IT?!"

"What?" Tech grunted, trying to steady Wrecker.

"IT'S GOTTA BE HERE SOMEWHERE!" He looked around again.

"Is this what you're looking for?" Omega tentatively held up Lula, the stuffed Tooka doll.

Wrecker gasped, suddenly calming down, "you found my Lula! OW!"

Tech injected him with some treatment. Leaving both Omega and I laughing. Though Omega was still afraid of me, she gave me a whole hearted smile when she heard me laughing.
