We infiltrated the factory without much trouble.
"Alright, now we just find the droid; Y/n, get up high now, and see if you can see anything," Hunter ordered, and pointed to a high overhang.
I nodded to him, and leapt over there.
"This is even a bit high for all the workers," I mumbled to myself, and scanned the area for the droid.
I was about to say the droid was not here, but then I caught sight of it, "the droid is here, approximately four hundred feet from your location. Well... most of it is..."
"Is the head intact?" Tech asked through comms.
"Yes, that's the only bit that's intact," I responded, "but you might want to hurry, the head is going to be at the melting pot soon."
"Got it," Hunter responded, and tuned out of comms, "stay up there and out of sight."
I nodded, "yeah, yeah, yeah..."
I scanned the little bit of area we have to work with. Trying my best not to inhale through my nose because of that awful smell of burning metal. I watched as Hunter and Omega walked up to get the head, while Wrecker, Tech, and Echo hung back.
"Oh $h!t! Get out of there now!" I hissed through comms, ducking out of sight from the factory workers, "there's workers here... and they're about to see you!"
They must have heard that wanting a little late, because, pretty soon, the whole facility was on lockdown.
"F^*k..." I whispered to myself as I crawled around on the cold metal, "now what?"
"We need to open the doors!" I heard Hunter hiss through comms, "Tech, Echo, get them open!"
I saw Tech and Echo retreat behind a console and start working away. Wrecker followed to cover them, but Hunter stayed put.
"Where's Omega? Y/n, can you see her?" Hunter called, blasting a police droid.
I looked around frantically, trying to find Omega.
"I found her! She's... facing off a factory worker? They're also after the droid head! Omega's in trouble! She might get melted in a few minutes," I explained.
"I'm on my way," Hunter said, and started off towards Omega.
I knew Wrecker, Tech, and Echo were conversing, but I decided to study the factory workers. They were not factory workers at all, and I was sincerely hoping they knew who they were messing with.
"I have the information!" Tech said through comms, "now let's focus on getting out of here."
I nodded to no one, "what about me?"
"I need you here y/n, because we might need your skill set in a minute. Wrecker is attempting to help me override that bridge over to the right of us; meaning, we'll be able to get out from there. But I may need your help to speed up the process of cracking these controls." Tech responded.
"I'm on my way," I responded, jumping down next to Tech, "that didn't take long did it?"
Echo gave me a smile, "yeah, I'll cover you both while you get that override."
"Let's get to work," I looked at Tech and stared at the console, "I haven't seen these controls in a long time."
"Agreed, but you still know how to do it?" Tech said, starting to type on the console again.
I frowned, "of course I do! How stupid do you think I am?"
Tech gave me a peculiar look.
"Don't answer that," I snapped, starting to type on the console.
As we started working on the console, the battle, that had been raging for a while now, suddenly intensified.
"What the f^-..." I began, but Hunter cut me off, "language y/n! And I have Omega, but those people are coming to you. They're coming for the head, and they're trying to get out the same way we are."
"That's not going to be much of a problem," I growled, watching the people come closer, "they might have one though."
"Don't kill anyone please," Hunter said in a tired voice, "and try to keep in minimal."
"Oh relax, I won't do it unless they ask for it," I responded.
"How many buttons have they pressed already?" Tech asked, nose in the console.
"Way too many, but I'll hop off for now." I responded, continuing to type on the console, "we've almost got it..."
Then, the people came here.
"Get the head out of here!" One said.
"How?" The other asked in an annoyed voice.
I growled in suspicion, but I continued to work on the console.
"We've got it!" I yelled, "let's go!"
"That might be a bit of a problem without Wrecker opening the door..." Echo said as we joined the firefight, the two others were also fighting the droids.
"Wrecker! Open the gate now! Wrecker? Wrecker?!" I tried, "no answer, something must've happened."
"We can't even get to him now," Hunter said, kneeling beside me, "we just need to get out of here, and grab Wrecker along the way."
"When you're done bickering, I suggest we figure out a way to get out of here, or we'll all be dead." One of the people said, I discovered she was a female.
"You are aware that we are fighting the same fight right? Just hold onto the head so we can both get out of here." I shook my head, and ducked under a blaster shot.
"What we need is a distraction!" One of them said, then the other said, "no, we need a distraction."
The first sister looked at Omega, who had somehow been sitting there the whole time, and said, "is there an Echo in here?"
"Yes," Echo moved to them, "I'm Echo."
"Your kidding?" One of the sisters said, "well, Echo... we need a distraction, and he can help with that," the sister pulled up the droid head.
I laughed, "only you Echo. Fives and the others are laughing right now," I uttered the last sentence under my breath.
"Almost... and... there!" The sister with the droid head said, "now watch as the distraction unveils before us. Eliminate all police droids."
"Eliminate all police droids," the tactical droid repeated, and sent the remaining battle droids into a frenzy.
"Tactical Droid, incoming!" I yelled happily and made a fake siren noise.
"Not yelling in my ear would be nice," Tech frowned at me.
I disregarded his words, and leapt forward. Charging the police droids with... other droids!
