Muchi

I slid down closer to the encampment, so that I knew the boys could see me, but the Zygerrians could not. At first, I had my total, undivided attention on the Zygerrian flight patterns, but Hunter's frantic waving of hands got my attention.

When I turned slowly to look at him, he had a p!$sed off look on his face.

He signed, 'what are you doing here?!'

I rolled my eyes, and ignored him. I had my two daggers at the ready, ready to change them into a bow and arrow.

I looked at Hunter again, who was scowling now.

He signed, 'no magic.'

I frowned at him, and gave him an annoyed look. I turned back to the Zygerrian flight patterns. I caught Omega sneaking around out of the corner of my eye. The Zygerrians seemed to be suspicious now, thanks Hunter.

I knew I had to make my move, but what should I do?
Maybe Shadow_Trick?
That might work.

I stepped into the shadow behind a nearby rock, and I prepared my bow. I inhaled sharply, drew the bow back, and waited for an unfortunate Zygerrian to fall prey to my plan.

Omega was nearly to the cage, I could see her now, but the Zygerrian was close. I narrowed my eyes, took another deep breath, held it, and waited...
Just about...
Almost there...
Just a little closer...
There!
I exhaled quickly, letting the arrow fly free. The arrow found its way into the chest of the Zygerrian soldier, but for my plan to work, I needed to move.

As I expected the Zygerrians were in an uproar now, they were tense. Now, they have a higher chance of making a mistake; like taking their eyes off Omega. Omega released the Rancor, which rampaged around, tossing things like tin cans.

The Zygerrians rushed to get the Rancor, but I took this opportunity to slip into the shadow of the tallest thing in the area. The structure where the Zygerrians took off from their winged mounts. Omega seemed to sense what I was doing, and she disappeared into the darkness too.

I used all of my senses to determine who was on top of the building, and once it was clear, I climbed to the top. I was right, nobody was up her, but my job was far from over.

I nodded to Omega, who started to release the other prisoners, while I got the other bad batchers free. First, I shot an arrow at Tech's cuffs, and he removed his shock-collar. He signaled to me that he was free, and started working on the bad batch members.

I released Wrecker next, and then fell back. Wrecker and Tech released Echo and Hunter, and they helped Omega free the prisoners.

"Y/n?" Tech's voice rang through comms.

"Space Genius?" I responded.

"Are you aware that the Rancor is Muchi?" Tech asked quickly.

I could not respond, but Echo took care of that for me.

"ThE RaNcOr Is MuChI?!" He gave the most confused answer through comms.

I laughed, "great update, but why don't you release those prisoners, I can get eyes on Muchi."

"Don't fly y/n!" Hunter tried, but he was a little late.

I sprouted my huge, midnight black, feathered wings, and started to fly over the scene.

"Let her do what she needs to do Hunter," a voice said.

It sounded like Wrecker, Omega, Echo, and Tech talking together. I was glad to know that someone has my back.

I followed the Zygerrian trail, they were trying to wrangle Muchi, but they were not doing so well.

"I've got eyes," I commed Wrecker, "your turn Wrecker."

"Ooh Yeah!!" Wrecker yelled, "THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART!"

I chuckled as Wrecker came to the Rancor.

"We'll cover him from the ground y/n," Hunter responded, arriving with Tech.

"I've got you covered from the air..." My voice trailed off at the end as I turned to my left.

Something was making a weird sound that I did not like. A loud crashing sound came from the other side of the encampment. Not where the Marauder was, but across from that thankfully.

"What's wrong y/n?" I heard Omega's voice.

"I'm not sure..." I responded, "but I don't like it..."

"If you're going after it," Tech said, "please be aware of your surroundings."

That's was his fancy way of saying, 'don't die alright?'

"Will do," I flew off in that direction, the noise was getting louder now.

I knew that I only had a short time before the others got the situation under control. I had to be finished before we leave. I flew over the area that was making the noise, and I was surprised at what I saw.

What appears to be a large spacecraft was just sitting in the middle of the ground. It shattered the ground around it, making it impossibly precarious around here. It's impact sent cracks flowing all the way to the camp, but no further.

The spacecraft opened, revealing... another Lycanthrope?

"F^*k!" I whispered in surprise, and flew slightly closer.

The Lycanthrope looked like a Bald Eagle to me, so it had wings. It looked up at me, and took off into the air. I glared at me, and roared its high-pitched shriek. Another unintelligent one.

I clenched my teeth and transformed into my alternate form. I bared my claws in teeth in attempt to establish some dominance. The creature seemed undeterred, it looks like I was going to have to fight this thing.

I lunged at me, and I nimbly dodged, the air battles, despite my appearance, were usually my forte. But when something like this comes along, a bird that is, it might pose a challenge in the air.
