Two days after their visit I couldn't contact them. I didn't own a phone nor I knew their contact number if had to call from Aradhya's house. But that noon Periya mama had come with them all. They asked me to get ready for lunch out in a restaurant.

As we settled in the table Periya mama ordered according to everyone's liking. I looked at Veera who had been unusually silent for so long. I questioned him about it through gestures and he shook his head as nothing. Then, I asked Shiva who was next to me. "Nee enga kuda stay panna othukka solli amma appa kita pesa poren nu avanga room ku ponaan. poitu vanthathula irundhey ipdi dha irukaan". Then it dawned that they might have rejected the idea and that's the reason for his silence. 

Suddenly periya mama cleared his throat and we both jerked to his side. "Thango naanga unakku onnu decide pannirukkom. Unakku ok na matuum othuko da". "Neenga decide panna correct ah dha irukkum mama". Veera and Shiva sighed together and I realized maybe I made a mistake. "Dha bha dha...Seri sollunga mama. Enna decide pannirukeenga?" Shiva trembled with laughter and I could feel Veera, who sat opposite to me doing the same. "Unakku college la admission poda application form vaangiyaachu thangam. Shiva college la dha" I looked at him. "Engineering and arts college" I nodded and mama continued. "But un stay dha da konjam confusion ah irukku" mama dragged. "Adhukku dha hostel irukkula mama", as soon as I completed Veera hissed. "Paithyame.. olari maatikaama mulusa kelu", Shiva instructed and I nodded. "Unga plan enna mama?" I asked periya mama. "Adhu..." he dragged and Athai continued. "Hostel laam unakku comfortable ah irukaadhula ma. Adha Veera and Shiva kudave avanga kuda ore veetla stay panriya nu kekurom ma". I mentally danced but noticed Veera still acting sad.

"Na avanga kuda thanguradhu Veera mama kuda pudikla polaye" I said and he looked at me shocked. "Korthu vuttiye da" Shiva said to me as he laughed with me. "Apdilaam illa ma. Nee enga kuda thanguradhukku na dha idea ve kuduthen", he said and I nodded as if I never knew. "KD" he mouthed and I giggled.

A week later I was now admitted to the same college as Shiva as a BA Tamil student. Periya mama and Athai were packing to go back to their native along with Daksh. I asked if they could they could stay longer but Daksh was already missing so many classes so they couldn't. Shiva started his B.tech mechanical engineering today. My classes would start in two days and I had to shift to Veera's house in Chennai today after Athai and Mama's departure. I traveled with them along with Aradhya to the railway station and almost everything looked different from the last time I saw this place. After sending them off with hugs and promises to take care of ourselves we reached my previous house to do the packing. 

I didn't want to leave my dad with these people but I had no other option. I had a talk with the nurse who is taking care of him and moved to my room to do the packing. Aradhya helped me with the packing. She seemed happily chatting but I knew what she might be going through. She was happy that I was stepping out of this cage and moving to the next part of my life but she didn't like me departing from there. I would miss all our moments. I started feeling so emotional and called her to me. I hugged her and she hugged me back wordlessly. After a few minutes of weeping she started. "Oii Dhaaru. Enna feelings ah. Avlo easy laam enkita irundha vidudhala kedaikkum nu nenaikaadha. Kandippa ella Sunday vum vandhu tholla pannuven. Nee vena paaru" I chuckled at it. "Nee va kanamma. Yaaru vendaam nu solra nu naanum paakuren". She laughed at it. We then happily packed and moved to the autorickshaw waiting for us. By then Veera had a conversation with Kavin and Nalini. He came to the auto angry but as I asked him what happened he just shook his head and relaxed. Aradhya had taken one of my cotton sarees and gifted me her favorite shawl. After bidding bye to her parents we left for my new 'home'. Veera held my fingers slowly and interlocked them with his. I could keep on seeing how my hand dissolved into his. He kept patting it with his other hand as I dozed off on his shoulders. I felt him holding me by my shoulders from my back and locking the hairs behind my ears that kept disturbing me. I smiled in my sleep and snuggled to him and I felt him kiss my head.
