Preface

In a apartment in Chennai.

A freshly bathed man with a physic to admire was kneading dough.

Music played in the background as a young lady younger than him came near and ran her fingers on his biceps to shoulder and hugged him from back as tightly as possible earning a smile from the man.

🎶Kerattu kaada kedantha enna
Thiruttu muzhikaara
Thoratti pottu izhukkurada nee
Thiruttu poonai pola enna
Urutti urutti paarthu
Surattu paambaa aakki putta nee🎶

She sang along the song playing on the TV as she broke the hug and balanced on the counter nearby.

🎶En mundhiyila soragi vecha
Sillaraiya pola nee
Iduppu madippil ennanammo
Senjiputtu pora nee
Paarangkalla irundha enna
Panji pola aakki putta
Enna viththa vechirukka nee🎶

She lifted his hands that were busy kneading the dough and rested them on her shoulders. She moved the dough away and sat on the counter matching his height.

🎶Yaana pasi
Naan unakku yaana pasi
Chola pori
Nee enakku chola pori🎶

She moved near him and rubbed her cheek on his earning a groan from him and sang the lyrics before applying some flour she sneakily took from the bowl without his knowledge.

"Adingu" he warned her as she started running to escape while he took a handful of flour before he started chasing her.

They both ran all around the house and she finally hid behind his room door having no knowledge that he already knew her location. He moved silently without any sound and suddenly appeared before her.

"Vendaam Veera" she pleaded seeing the handful of flour he had.
"En melaya d maava podra.. indha vachiko" he said as he threw some flour on her cheek that reached her neck.

"Ada paavi! Unna.." she said as she matched forward.
"Enna d pannuva?" He asked as he slid his hands on her waist through her saree making her gasp and stick to the wall. He smirked at the effect he had in her before it changed into a frown seeing her mischievous smile.
She pulled him closer by his vest's shoulder strap before rubbing the flour on her cheek to his, transferring all the dust. She removed his hand in her waist and took the remaining flour on his hand. She sensually moved her hand filled with flour on his neck and his nape and kept both her hands on his shoulders, holding eachother at back. She smirked at him while he smiled rubbing his small subtle on her neck making her giggle. Her contagious smile spread to him. He tightly wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her more closer. He slowly kissed her forehead while she held her gaze with his. He pulled her more closer if that was possible. He kissed her eyes, cheeks, nose and moved to her lips when she rested her forehead on his. She took a long breath which he noticed.

"Veera.." she whisper called him.
"Hmm.." he replied.
"Veera.." she called again.

He understood she needed assurance to continue further. He held her chin making her hold her gaze with his.

"Dharani ma. You know la I am always with you. In anything"

She nodded closing her eyes while tears threatened to fall. He kissed corner of her eyes taking her tears away and making her smile.

"Kalayanam paniklaama?" Dharani asked.
Veera stared at her few seconds before asking, "enakku theriyaama epolerndhu kudikka aarambicha?"
She giggled hitting her forehead with his.

"Pah.. indha oru vaarthaikku dhaane di wait pannitu irundhen. Seri seri seekro va. Un mama kita pesi avar manasa konjam cool pannuvom. Andha manushan ennamo na dha unna kadathi vachirukka maadhri enkita morachittu nikuraaru" he said dramatically.
She laughed. "Adhu enna en mama nu solra. Un Appa dhane" she asked.
"Adhu andha manushanukku nyabagam irukka nu therlaye.. epavum enna villain maadhri treat panna apdi dha solluven" he finished complaining.
She laughed while he smiled seeing her laugh. Suddenly to her surprise he lifted her holding her near knees and swirling her in air making her laugh more. She love it every time he does that.
"En pondati ok sollitaaa!" He announced.
She knocked his head. "Kalayanam apro dha da un pondati". She said.
"Adhellam enakku theriyaadhu. Enakku nee, unakku na nu epovo decide pannadhu dhaane" he said making her smile and she hugged his head to her stomach. Slowly he made her stand and stared into her eyes before capturing her lips sensually. Both fought for dominance before they gave up due to lack of oxygen.

"You made me the happiest man today Dharani!" Veera whispered in her ears.
"You are the reason I want to breath Veera!" She whispered back.

Soon their stomach growled making them chuckle and get back to the preparation of their long forgotten breakfast.
