October 29

"Deja !" I heard Shakora yell . "Coming !" I yelled back . I went downstairs to see wtf she wanted at 4:18 in the morning . "Mommy said you have to get blood work done today so you'll be late to school" I nodded my head and went back to my room . I fucking hate needles and shit with a passion . Ms. Erica , well "mommy" knows damn well ain't no damn doctor coming to me with a needle that's super dead . But I just went to sleep to take my mind off of it.

My alarm went off at 5:30 . I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth and washed my face then went downstairs . "Goomawnin deda" marquis told me . He's 2 years old and literally a big bowl of honey . I picked him up "good morning stinka butt". He smiled while I put him down and went to the kitchen . Shakora , Darius (her brother) & Ms. Erica was all eating eggs, bacon , grits SAUSAGE . Just kidding no sausage .

"You hungry deja ? There's no more eggs but I can fix you some if you'd like ." I'm fine I'll just eat some cereal" I responded and poured myself some cinnamon toast crunch. Soon I was done eating it was about 6 and Mrs. Erica told me we should get going because the doctors office is over west . I threw on some yoga pants from pink with a matching hoodie and my white low cut Air Force ones . I had my hair in singles so I just put them in a bun and put on some light pink Mac lipstick .

We got to the doctors around 7:50 and my appointment was at 8 so I signed my name and sat in the waiting room watching Opera . This little girl kept fussing about some damn McDonald's . I wanted to smack a happy meal in her mouth so she'd stfu . But her mother spanked her butt causing her to start screaming everyone turned around and was being nosey then went back to Opera.

"Deja James" i heard the nurse call . You could tell she from the hood . She was smacking her gum and patting her stiff ass weave while taking my blood pressure and checking my temperature . She had on some big ass earrings and some purple lipstick . I looked over at Mrs. Erica she was shaking her head . "You Finna see doctor McKoy. He rey be in her in a minute it shouldn't take a bop" she said smacking her gum and walking out the room .

I was scared so I started praying . Lord if it be your will please allow me to relax and not have to bite any of the doctors . Please let this blood work go painless and fast so I can get out of here and go back to school . Amen I said as ghetto nurse Bonquesha came back into the room. Come on sweetie to this room right here. I sat went to this room that had a bunch of examining chairs all lined up . "Momma you can sit over dere " she pointed . I sat down and looked around then felt a tap on my shoulder causing me to jump. It was Braxton. "Wassup Shorrdy" he said smiling . He looked fine as hell . He had on a black nike shirt with some black joggers and them white and blue Jordan's . The 6's whatever they called . "Hey" I said reaching for a braid to twist when I remembered my hair was in a bun . I saw he had that gauze wrapped around his vain . "Did it hurt ? " I asked pointing to it . "Nah you should be straight . Want me to sit here with you ?" He said . I started blushing my little ass off . He sat down . I noticed myself staring at his cute lor chocolate ass . "I like your shirt" I said to make it seem like I was just staring at him . He nodded grinning. Doctor McKoy finally came putting gloves on "hello deja" he shook my hand "this will be quick and easy" he said but they all say that knowing damn well it hurts. Braxton looked over at his mom "5 more minutes ma" he said she said she'll be in the car and to hurry up before he gets left. Doctor McKoy rubbed alcohol on my vain and wrapped the blood pressure thingy around it. Braxton grabbed my hand. "You good ?" I nodded cheesing like hell . The doctor said one .... two .... three and placed the needle in. I didn't fell anything actually . I just sat there like a little kid and was fascinated by the blood going trough the tube . "All done" The doctor said while removing the needle. Braxton dapped me up I'll see you in a few shorrdy he said . I got up and went over to Ms. Erica "I'm ready" I told her and she dropped me off at school .

I got to school around 9:30 so it was 2 period and I had English. I don't fuck with no one in that class so I just sat there for 90 minutes and listened to him go on and on about internal and external conflicts . That day went by pretty fast . The bell rung for dismissal . I met up with my squad . Me , India , Ke'shawn, Shakora , and Pooda (lanera) . I saw some girl who had her arm around Braxton and was playing with his hair. I tried not to make eye contact but he gave me a nod and I nodded back as I got on the bus.

Shakora had cheer practice and Darius had football , so I stayed home with Marquis. I fixed us some chicken flavored noodles and we watched spongebob for about 2 hours then he finally went to sleep . It was only 8 so I took a shower and started my homework . Shakora came in our room and smacked my neck ."Open neck !" She said backing up before I could smack her ass back . "Guess who I saw at the doctors ?" I told her blushing . "Shit you only smile like that for Braxton" I couldn't help but to bust out laughing ."Shut the fuck up" I told her . "Text him dummy" "I don't have his number dumb ass ! Can you get it for me ?" I said giving her the puppy dog eyes "i gotchu bookie" I hugged her thanks boo . Then I just laid there and thought about today. Eventually I fell asleep.
