November 26

••Braxton's P.O.V••

"Braxton get up, we gotta get going to beat the traffic." my ma told me. I washed my face brushed teeth and put on some joggers a hoodie and my pumas. I helped my mom get her bag in the car told my sister and her fiancé goodbye then we hit the road.

I reached for my phone to put my headphones on but my mom snatched them out my ear. "what was bothering you last night." I was quiet for a moment. I forgot all about deja. "She got cancer ma. she aight though it's only stage 2 they put her on something and she go back in 2 weeks." I told her. "Baby don't worry she's strong and God's got it okay." she told me I nodded and reached for my headphones.

I fell asleep the whole ride. We got home around 4 and I called Deja. "Wya baby ?" "Home." I didn't tell her I was omw cause I wanted to surprise her. I told my mom where I was going then left.

I stopped at the store and brought her a big Hershey bar, there her favorite. I knocked on her door and Ms.Erica opened it."Hey Braxton !" "Hello Ms.Erica how are you?" I said hugging her and kissing her on her cheek. "I'm blessed ." I know that's right , I told her and went upstairs to Deja's room.

(Knocks on door)

Shay opened the door. "Wassup B ?" I dapped her up. "Nothing hanging in there." "True, and Deja sleep but I'll smack her and wake her up if you want ?" She said laughing. "I'll call you if I need you too" I said laughing and walked into her room. I kissed her and she woke up. Wow that was easy.

"BABY !" She yelled kissing me and hugging me. "Someone missed Daddy." I told her. She didn't even look you know......... I mean she just found out she has cancer and I mean........you know what my baby strong. I picked her up and placed her on my lap kissing her. "I missed you." I told her while handing her the chocolate bar. "It was a day." We both laughed "but I missed you more."

I just held her in my arms. I wanted her to feel comfortable and she was warm so I didn't know if she had a fever or anything. "How you feeling baby girl ?" I asked. "I'm trying not to think about this whole cancer thing but I got a letter from Frostburg." She said handing it to me. "BABY YOU GOT ACCEPTED !" I said. "I know next it's you !" She told me. I nodded.

We layed there and watched a movie then I fell asleep.

••Deja's P.O.V••

I missed Braxton so much it made me happy to be in his arms. I started pinching his cheeks cause of course imma mess with him. Then I got up and ran to bathroom. I through up, washed my face and gargled in mouth wash then layed down.

We both woke up and went to hibachi grill and talked about thanksgiving and college and prom and our future. We left hibachi and he dropped me off cause he had practice. "Bye baby girl." he said kissing my cheek. "Bye" I kissed his cheek and went inside.

Soon I walked through the door Shay slapped my neck. This bitch. I chased her behind the steps and she tripped then I popped her back. "How was your date with ya lor boo thang ?" She said while going in our room. "It was amazing as usual I missed him." She laughed "yall can't be 24 hours away from each other? sike lemme shut up cause me and Chris can't either." I laughed at her and then went to take a shower.

I through on a cami and some leggings and just let my hair be. Marquis was crying so I went in the room to get him. "Whatsa wrong baby?" I asked him taking him downstairs in the living room. "Mahawueud buhu." he said "Oh for real?" I said . I ain't know what the fuck he said so I played along.

I fixed both of us a pbj sandwich and turned on yo gabba gabba. It was 8 and Braxton had texted me.

Husband😍💍 ; hey baby I love you I sprained my ankle at practice but I'm fine I'm at patient first you can come to my crib tomorrow when my mom gets me.

I told him okay and if he was sure he was ok and he said positive but he won't be driving for 3-5 weeks.

Ugh ! Man he be good he strong not gonna stress nothing to stress about he cool I told myself. Then ran to the bathroom and through up again.
