••Braxton's P.O.V••

"Ma I'm rey go get Deja." she didn't respond. "ma you sleep ?." I asked then walked up to her room. She was sitting there crying. "ma what's wrong?." I asked her rubbing her back. "Baby your father died."

I . I was speechless , my pops died on me. I gave her a kiss and left. Soon I got in my car I cried. My pops was my everything . Both of my parents we're and he always made me happy. he was away on a business trip. I wondered how he passed.

I reached under my seat and grabbed my coke. I know this stuff ain't good for me but with deja having cancer and now my father just died I need something to take my mind off it.

"Baby I'm omw." I texted deja. omw to get deja I thought if I should tell her I'm on that stuff. idk that might be dumb. Imma stop.

I pulled up at deja crib and blew the horn. She came outside wearing some tight ass jeans that showed every curve in her body with a baseball jersey and some Jordan's. When did she think it was okay to wear jeans hugging her ass idk but my baby looked good.

She kissed me "why you look like that?"
Like what ? I asked her. "idk you just look different." I gave her a shoulder shrug .We were going to see a movie but I had to stop and get gas. "What's wrong b why you so quiet?" Deja asked me. "my dad died." I told her pulling into the gas station. "Baby why didn't you tell me. I'm sorry." "don't worry it's cool princess." I told her kissing her forehead and getting out to pump the gas.

••Deja's P.O.V••

Braxton's acting weird today maybe cause his dad's gone. I dropped my lipstick in between the seat so I looked under the seat to find it til I saw a bag full of used and unused drugs. I know damn well Braxton not on this shit. I hid it under the seat as I saw him coming looked out the window and started playing my music.
