He hugged me and let me come in. I sat on the coach where his mom was "hi ms. Michelle." I said giving her a hug. "Hi honey how are you?" "I'm hanging in there hbu." "I'm good." She said. I looked at Braxton who signaled for me to go to his room.

I sat on his bed. "so wassup?" I asked. He picked up a piece of paper and stood up in front of me like he was rey present a report or some shit.

"its much better now." he said. i looked in his closet and saw some uno cards and then we played uno.

••Dae'quan's P.O.V••

I couldn't even listen to India talk about how she got raped anymore. It mad me so mad to here what my baby had to go through and I wasn't there to protect her. I feel like I could've prevent that. I grabbed a French fry off her plate and tried to change the subject. " so what you want for Christmas?" I asked her. she laughed and choked on her fried shrimp. "well Santa ," she started. "tbh I wanna go to new york. I never been and I wanna see the ball drop on new years." "what you never been to New York ? " I asked her and she shook her head no. "we can leave on Christmas go there and then we can stay til New Years" I told her. "You think our parents will let us go ?"she said. I met India's mom before she reminds me of a old black lady from down south. "yeah why not? We 18. we not legal yet til we 21 but we should be straight." I said. she laughed again. "we not legal?" We both laughed . the waitress came back with the check. I payed it and we left.

"Call deja and tell her I'm omw." I told her.

••India's P.O.V••

"Deja we on our way." "tbh girl I don't even wanna leave" she whispered but Braxton obviously heard her and laughed in the background. "We have school tomorrow." "oh shit. I forgot I'm getting ready now." "rd" said and hung up.

"She talking bout she don't wanna leave." I told Dae'quan laughing. "So when you going home ? " He asked me. "oh yeah. I do needa go home I don't wanna keep staying with deja Shay needs her space and I can't just move there." I said. "I'm Rey call my mom now haven't talked to her in a minute.

"Hello?" "Hi mommy." I said. I was so glad to hear her voice. "hi baby where have you been with Dae'quan ?" she asked me. "yeah." I lied. "is unc still there?" I asked her. "There leaving tomorrow." she said "I gotta talk to you but I'll tell you after school and I'm staying with Dae'quan for just one more night." "No come home and spend time with you family before they go." "we across town I won't make it in time" I lied "and I have school tomorrow I'll get my books in the morning love you." love you to baby cakes." she said.

"I'm staying with you. my uncle and them leave tomorrow so that's when I'll go." I told him as we pulled up to Braxton's house. He blew the horn. "so your mom don't know what happen?" He asked me I shook my head. Braxton had walked deja out to the door and hugged her. "call me later." I heard him say "wassup yall." he said to me and Dae'quan "hey." we both said. he waved as we pulled off. Deja looked sad af.

"You good?" I asked her. "yeah I just didn't wanna go. I feel in love with him 10 times more." "aww" me and Dae'quan said in unison. "you and my mans perfect for each other yall needa stop being childish and get back together." Dae'quan said. I looked at deja through the mirror and rolled my eyes and mouth ignore him.

We pulled up to her house. "I'm staying with this dummy tonight I'll see you in school tomorrow love you" I told her as she got out. "okay love you to be safe and see yall."

••Deja's P.O.V••

It was 7:30 and ms.erica and mr.mike was rey go out. Shay was still out with Chris so I was watching the boys myself. they're not a problem though so it's cool. "Shay still not back ?" Ms. Erica asked me. she was looking cute or whatever with her gold hoops and black dress. "no she with Chris but it's cool I got them." "it's a school night and she didn't tell me she was going out but ok. Darius can play the game til 8 then he'll take a shower and he should be sleep at 9. Marquis should be out in a minute too just turn on Diego you know how to handle it." she told me. "yes ma'am i said and have fun." "thanks sweetie" she said and left.

Marquis was sleep soon ms. Erica left. it was 8:57 and Darius was laying down watching the new jungle jam. I checked on them again and texted Braxton.

I put my phone on the charger and went to check on the boys who were both sleep. I turned off Darius TV and layed down in bed. I was tired af. I said my prayers and went to bed.

I got in at 11. That's not that late but I need to go to sleep im tired af. I didn't wanna wake up deja or my brothers so I was quiet. I forgot I had to help deja keep and eye on them. I went in my mom room to see Marquis, which reminds me. I sorta didn't tell me parents I was pregnant.
